Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!Â
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)

I preordered your cookbook!!
My magic moment was when my husband actually took off a few days to join our kids and I at my parents lake house (the man has serious issues with ever taking off work and he works everyday =()
We moved closer to our family – doesn’t get better than that :)
Dancing with my bf at a wedding like we were Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze in the final scene of dirty dancing. We obviously looked amazing (in our own minds).
2nd comment bc I preordered TWO books a month ago! One for me and one for my bff in Boston!
My magic moment was getting my 7 year old son out of bed late one night to go sit on the porch, wrapped up in blanket, to watch a heavy thunderstorm together.
My moment was running on the beach! Sea, sand, and running = doesn’t get much better.
My entire summer felt pretty magical – I work with an organization that builds houses for poverty-stricken families on the Baja – but the most magical by far was going back to see a family living in their new house several weeks later, and experiencing their joy and hospitality anew. So lovely.
My magic moment this summer was a simple trip to a splashpad with my 3-year-old. We’ve travelled a lot and had some amazing experiences, but seeing her exuding pure joy on the waterslides and sprinklers just made my heart melt into a puddle. I love that little girl. :)
My favourite moment this summer was getting another teaching job for the following year. They are hard to come by, especially when there are so many of us elementary teachers around! The many days of sleeping in was almost as glorious too! ;) Love all your currently crushing on posts, I always find so many wonderful things (that lead me to other wonderful things too). THANK YOU! :)
My magic moment was exploring the north shore boardwalk with my husband. Great weather and beautiful sunsets. Love summer!
My magic moment this summer was my dog and I getting to spend a long, lazy weekend with my best friend at her lake house. My friend moved to a small town 3 hours away earlier this year and I’d only been down once to help her move, so this recent visit really gave us time to reconnect.
Cher=MAGIC moment overload!!!!
cruising on the boat with my husband and pup. with snacks. always with snacks.
Visiting New Jersey and New York and getting some real pizza.
My magic moment was seeing my youngest brother graduate high school. Over the moon proud if him! Also, the following week, bringing my southern born and bred boyfriend and his daughter back up to NY with me to experience my hometown for the very first time.
searching for sharks teeth on a Florida beach with my grandson!
I just had my magic moment of the summer a few days ago. I visited my brother and his girlfriend out in Flagstaff, Arizona. They both had to work all week so I decided to take a solo adventure to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. I’m not particularly outdoorsy (except for getting drunk on patios), but I figured I needed to do something that was outside of my comfort zone. I completed one of the most iconic hikes in Zion and one of the hardest, the climb to Angel’s Landing. The last half mile was scrambling across a ridge with cliffs on either side, hanging onto the chains attached to the rockface. It was exhausting and more than a little scary, but finally standing up at the end and looking at across the canyon from 6000 feet up was worth every second of fear and doubt.
My best summer moment so far was trying on my wedding dress when it arrived!! :). I’ve also enjoyed several delicious dinners on the screened porch with my fiancé (who happens to be a great cook!) :)
My magic moment this summer was spending a week with my husband and my boys in sunny, hot and beautiful Kelowna! Such a fun family trip!
Seeing our daughter dance around in my belly after 3 long years of fertility treatments
Wow — what a fantastic and generous giveaway!! My moment has been spending time with my family back east, we live 3000 miles away from one another so it’s extra special!
My magic moment for the summer…hmm, would have to say finally starting my food site. I know cliche answer but I’m just glad I finally tackled this. Its taken me years to buckle down and finally get it down and not be scared of the response, plus theres so many people who are waiting for me to be great. Considering having to deal with a family death I’m still trying to get this done because i know its what they would’ve wanted. So, finishing school and making my food site a full time job sounds hard but I’m happy that I finally decided to do it.
My magic moment this summer was going to the mountains with my family, hiking through caves and drinking beer on the cabin porch watching the fireflies.
My magic moment was being a part of my good friend’s amazing wedding near the water in Michigan. I got to be surrounded by great company, while also spending time with my fiance as we prepare for our own upcoming wedding in some weeks.
My magic moment from this summer was getting ENGAGED on July 4!! No better way to celebrate with my new fiancee than with fireworks on the lake and an American flag cake made of cake pops!
My favorite thing this summer was a long weekend at the lake with 5 of my closest girlfriends. Waking up to the waves, great conversations, and tasty wines.
i got engaged! Definitely a summer I will remember for the rest of my life :)
Am I too late!? I absolutely adore your blog : ) My magic moment this summer was spending a night in NYC with my 3 best friends from home. We had dinner, lots of wine, and watched a sappy movie, it was perfect! The next day we had a bachelorette party for one of my best friends (she is the first to get married!). Saturday was a blast, but Friday was perfect.
magic moment: seeing my family after a few years of living abroad! family is everything<3 congrats on your little gorwing one! x
After wanting to go for years, I finally took a solo-trip to Northern France. I was the first in my family to be at Juno Beach since my Grandpa landed on D-Day. I got to follow the path through Normandy that he would have taken during the liberation – the whole trip was surreal and magical. I so wish he could have been with me, but I felt so close to him while visiting those same small french towns he helped to liberate.
I also made a point of eating a croissant in every town I went through – that part was pretty great too ;) I’ve been a long time reader, but this is my first time commenting! Can’t wait for the cookbook to come out!
Having our new granite kitchen counters installed!
I did pre-order a copy of your cookbook when it was first available on Amazon.
My magic moment of the summer would have to be…finding out we are having a boy! We have two girls now, so hearing we had a little man on the way was quite a shock. This makes the first son born on my husband’s side of the family, which is quite a feat given that there are currently SEVEN granddaughters!
My favorite moment of the summer was the first bite of a lobster roll. No, I’m not in Maine — I’m in NYC — but that buttery, succulent taste in a PRETZEL ROLL? I died. You’d love it. Go to Urban Lobster Shack when you’re in NYC and please have one — on me!
My second comment is to say that I preordered on Amazon and ALSO just purchased my ticket to see you on September 11 at the 92Y! Can’t wait.
