Tuesday Things.
1. Neon eggs, courtesy of leaving each egg in it’s (terrible horrible no good very bad for you, I know!) dye for at least 30 minutes each. Yes, it’s just one big party.
2. While I adore snapchat, it’s to a point where I’m following way too many people. I think on Sunday I spent 36 (THIRTY SIX!) minutes look at the recent updates. Whyyyyy.
3. How freaking cute is this edible paper mache easter egg piñata? I just want it for… every day life? Of course.
4. Please tell me that you saw the news that Josh Malina is going to do a West Wing podcast?! My life is made. My only fear is that it will take waaaay too long to get through the series.
5. TV! Billions, yes. The writing on this show is ridic and wonderful. Highly considering just finding all the spoilers for the Walking Dead over the next two weeks so I don’t have to feel all the feels. GIRLS? I am loving the newest couple even though it’s so “forbidden.” I hope it lasts. I can’t even TAKE Hannah. I am over her. In the first season she was somewhat relatable and occasionally funny, now it’s like she is regressing. I completely forgot to talk about House of Cards last week! I ended up bingeing on it (well, as much as you can binge when you have a kid) and ugh… I’m torn. I still love it. But I just felt so sick to my stomach after the last episode. Bah.
6. Even though Max has tons of toys, his absolute favorites are the TV remotes. Over the weekend he apparently DVRed Ben Hur AND Fiddler on the Roof (how?!) so umm… classic taste?
7. This plan to free your mind from worries? I’m starting it ASAP.
8. It has been so gloomy out that I found myself actually wishing that I could see through an instagram filter lens. Like have clarendon be my eye filter. This is why I hate to love you, 2016.

Be careful with Max and the remote! WARNING: they can somehow figure out how to purchase movies and TV shows. Don’t ask me how this is possible.Â
I know! Forget the fantastic wooden puzzles or the box of percussion instruments, my kid is all about the remotes. My husband took the batteries out of one for her…she knows it no longer works! Somehow we always end up on a Spanish music station when she grabs the remote, I think she wants to be Selena when she grows up!
Max has good taste in movies, and you have good taste in colors, because dang girl! Â Those eggs are gorgeous. Â Did you use egg dye or food coloring? Â Because I totally need to do this for my little guy before Easter is over and done.
We have a remote lover too. Â We get muted most often. Â She also was able to reconfigure the screen so the bottom inch is cut off. Â Fun times!
Yes it may be bad for you, but those eggs look amazing!
I really need to free my mind from worries. Where do I sign up… Sunny weather would definitely help!
No kidding – when my son was 2 he somehow managed to program our TV remote so it also worked with our DVD player. We had been trying for years to get it to work and simply gave up and used the 2 different remotes. Those babes are GENIUSES I tell you!
If those eggs are wrong, I don’t wanna be right.Â
So. Billions. I watched the first episode and wasn’t hooked. Sounds like I should give it another go?Â
I feel the same way about Girls/Hannah. I think I’m just OVER it, you know? It’s not shocking or even entertaining anymore. Total regression. Not funny. Stupid. Let’s move on.
The eggs came out great! My niece is obsessed with the tv remote. She keeps recording shows. Â
The Walking Dead wraps up for the season on my birthday. I’m totally dying!

Fiddler on the “Rood”? Â Awesome. Â Much better name than the original!
Hi, concerning the dyed eggs…At Easter in Cyprus , it is tradition to dye eggs as part of  feastivities. You can dye them with a Natural organic method however..without chemicals or additives. …..when boiling the eggs , add the outer casing of either red or yellow onions +1or2 table spoonsof vinegar, any type ,and allow to boil with eggs until hard boiled. The eggs turn a beautiful yellowish tan colour..Also beetroot peelings + vinegar , which can be boiled previously for a good colour ,then used to boil eggs a mauvish colour.. For us here though’ Madder Root ‘is available , beaten a little and boiled beforehand to release a good color , sieved of roots, then eggs boiled in the remaining liquid with a little vinegar, to HOLD  Eggs…NB.you cannot taste the vinegar or it does not leave any lingering smell….Also to finish eggs off with a lovely sheen , put a little  edible oil,eg sunflower, oil olive oil on cotton wool and rub over eggs, gently  wiping excess off with cotton tissue for a great finish.. It’s simple and effective .. Enjoy ‘KALO PASCHA ‘.. Happy EasterÂ
I’m really surprised that you don’t watch Shades of Blue with JLo!!!!!! Â Such a GREAT show!!!! Â It’s on NBC on Thursday’s at 10:00. Â You should binge watch it and check it out. Â You’d love it!!!!!
Those orange eggs are the best.Â
I saw your eggs on IG and dyed all my uncooked eggs (because making eggs for breakfast is so much more rewarding when you can crack open a neon pink shells VS brown/white) with the neon tablets but mine weren’t quite as neon-y as yours & now I know why!
That picture of eggs looks awesome. What have you used in coloring them? Hope my kids enjoy coloring an egg!!
All breakfast dreams came true with this recipe
My CAT plays with tech all the time. I wish I could show you the pics here for proof; I send them to my sysadmin friend all the time. The other day, I woke up from a nap, and my cat had (apparently) been trying to debug a website. He has also sent IMs and texts to friends, and he’s made calls. I had a friend staying over one time, she woke up before I did and was trying to figure out an app on her phone, my cat swiped something on the phone, and he had solved the problem! It’s also completely common for me to come home after work to find the tv on if I forget to hide the remote before I leave, he commonly changes the channel while I’m watching, and I once woke up to find he had Season Passed Robert Irvine’s show. Apparently, my cat has a mancrush on Robert Irvine. He is also fond of telenovelas.
It’s a little creepy, truth be known.
Why is the dye bad for you? Â What’s wrong with vegetable dye? Â Isn’t that what everyone uses – in all kinds of cooking? Â I mean, I grew up with veg dye and white vinegar to help dye eggs, and have been doing the same with my 3 kids for years. Â What gives?
