12 Days of Christmas! Day 10: howsweeteats Squad Dinner and a Giveaway! {CLOSED}
Are you as embarrassed by my title as I am?!
Last night, we went out for howsweeteats holiday dinner! It was super fun, we went to the Christmas pop up bar (Christmas totally threw up all over the place) and had dinner at Revel and Roost. I love being in the city at christmastime.
Yesterday’s giveaway winner for the Mackenzie- Childs champagne flutes is Leslie who said “Those flutes are beautiful! NYE will be spent drinking champagne and ordering pizza at home with my husband and pooch! We’ll probably watch When Harry Met Sally. :)
Congrats Leslie! Please email me at howsweeteats (at) gmail (dot) com with your mailing address!

Burberry Brit was always my go-to scent in high school/college. prior to that though it was either the Orange curve fragrance or Lucky You
I wore Clinique Happy – way too much of it, I’m sure :)
Anything from Bath & Body Works!
Victoria’s Secret Lovespell!
Jovan musk as a teen, but my first was Loves Babysoft. I fell in love with fragrance the first day I wore Loves to school in 6th grade and the meanest boy in my class walked up to me and said ” you smell nice” What? !!! I realized the power of scent in that moment and have loved many ever since!
Cool Water was the scent I went with for most of Freshman and Sophomore Year until I transitioned to Ralph Lauren Blue…then of course when I just needed a quick “splash” I went with Victoria’s Secret Pearberry.
I wonder what it would be like to walk around one day with those scents on…
Great throwback post!
Love’s Baby Soft and Chloe! It was a loooong time ago!
My favorite scent was Sun, Moon and Stars by Lagerfeld back in 1992!

Love’s Babysoft and Love’s Lemon-whatever-it-was-called!
I wore a ton of different ones because I have always loved perfumes, sprays, lotions, etc. Anything that makes you smell good! One that I wore a lot was Tommy Hilfiger, and another one was Boss.
I also am subscribed to your YouTube channel and I follow you on Facebook.
I grew up wearing Abercrombie perfume and Pink Sugar! To say I smelled like a piece of candy would be an understatement! :)
I followed you on Facebook too!
I wore Into You (for her) by Calvin Klein for the longest time, but I was also a huge fan of bath and body works Forever Sunshine (which has sadly been discontinued).

I wore Loves Baby Soft and the lemon one, too! Just like a few other entries. I still like the lemon verbena from L’occitaine so I guess I’ve never grown out of it. Jessica, you totally turned me on to Jo Malone! I only have one so far (and it’s a mini at that!) as that’s all my husband would splurge on for my birthday, but it’s so good!

Oh how I longed to wear make-up and perfume as a teenager, but there was no money for that! I occasionally stole a spray of whatever Avon product my mom had at the time – not my favorite! My husband bought me a bottle of Coco Chanel for Christmas last year. That was the first bottle of perfume for me EVER, and I love it! Would like to add something new to my budding collection. Wink wink
Clinique’s Happy… and an awful Tommy Hilfiger one, too. Smelling Happy now takes me back…
OOh.. I Love Jo Malone. Thank goodness my tastes have improved! ha! Early high school (I’m going to really show my age here) I wore Exclamation! Wait.. maybe that was Junior High. I know I went thru a Happy phase and then went through a phase where I wore men’s cologne.. mostly of the Calvin Klein collection. Ha.

Victoria’s Secret Cherry Blossom and Peach <3
Bath & Body Works Magnolia Blossom!!! I still love it… even though they don’t make it anymore. :'(((

As a young junior higher it was Debbie Gibson’s Electric Youth! (it for sure made the boys get “lost in my eyes”…ha ha…not really). Then as a more mature and worldly high schooler it was Victoria’s Secret Pear Glace. :) Merry Christmas!
I didn’t wear perfume as a teenager. It was more a selection of Bath and Bodyworks lotions.

Merry Christmas!
My go-to perfume in high school was Liz Claiborne – totally 80s and 90s!
Been following you on Facebook for years!
The first scent I remember wearing was Estée Lauder’s White Linen. It drove one of my classmates crazy and made me feel so grown up that it would be noticed by a guy. He later passed away and I just could never wear that scent again. I discovered Jo Malone after reading about her making perfume in her kitchen from all natural ingredients after she survived breast cancer.. It was hard to find in those early days and I stumbled upon her original flagship store while visiting NYC’s Whitney Museum in its previous location. I fell in love with Lime Basil and Madarin. It is still my favorite and a fresh scent not so unlike White Linen. I can always recognize Jo Malone scents on others. They are distinctive yet never over powering. This uncanny ability makes me remember my friend Derrick fondly.
I honestly didn’t wear perfume as a teenager, but I do remember walking by the boys’ lockers and it just reeking of cologne!
