12 Days of Christmas! Day 11: Q + A and a Giveaway! {CLOSED}
Thanks for asking all of these questions guys! I filmed in the dark, Max is running around screaming, the quality is not great, but I’m uploading and sharing anyway. Total real life and it’s kind of embarrassing. It is also THIRTY SEVEN (omg) minutes long and the amount of times I paused the video and was horrified at my expression? Too many to count.
Just a note that tomorrow’s last video and (HUGE!!!) giveaway will be uploaded a bit later – around 3 or 4PM EST. Lacy and I are having our big baking day and I’m going to film some it! Be sure to check back for tomorrow’s giveaway because it’s absolutely incredible and gorgeous!
Yesterday’s giveaway winner for the Jo Malone treats is Ashley who said “I definitely wore the Lucky You perfume by Lucky Brand. Honestly, I was complimented on it ALL THE TIME, so I’m not even sure why I stopped wearing it?!”
Congrats Ashley! Please email me at howsweeteats (at) gmail (dot) com with your mailing address!

How on earth can you choose just one holiday cookie?? That’s the beauty of the holidays: the Cookie Platter! So many delicious choices! I love all those special treats that only get made once a year–in our family that means a lot of Scandinavian delights. I go through obscene amounts of butter around this time of year.Â
But okay, if I must choose, right this moment I’m going pick a snowball (Russian Tea Cake?) off the platter.
Merry Christmas!

It’s really too hard to choose just one holiday cookie! But if I am forced to I have to go with a traditional cookie, supersized. I’m making one big chocolate chip cookie for santa this year. It has the soft, chewy, chocolate, cookie goodness of regular chocolate chip cookies but you get to enjoy it for longer because it is so big. And, you don’t have to feel bad because you still only ate one cookie, right?! Plus the recipe is super quick and easy. Oh, that and PBJ sandwich cookies made with PB cookies. And the chai spice snickerdoodles from your blog. I guess I really can’t choose!
PS. following on insta and youtube of course.
I have to say peanut butter blossoms, simply because my memories of loving them as a child are so strong. Also, peanut butter and chocolate are always high on my list…
My fave cookie is good ‘ol spritz cookies in the cookie press. Very nostalgic! And also Mexican wedding cakes that my momma always makes.
My favorite cookie has always been frosted sugar cookies, thanks and happy holidays !
