A Week in the Life, Vol 6.
Six weeks into the year!
And we finally go snow!
Last week we did a few lingering shots for the next book. There are just a few left, but it’s mostly reshoots from recipes I shot last year – and now I loathe the photos. Of course.
He is obsessed with doing the dishes.
And they are obsessed with “making beds” and “taking naps.”
City lights!
And the cheesiest arancini.
My mom and I saw Miss Saigon last week. Wow. It was amazing and also devastating. Kind of hard to watch! The cast was incredible.
He would “do art things” (as he calls it) over anything else. Currently obsessed with this play dough ice cream set.
Snow actually fell! I don’t think anyone was actually expecting it because it’s been forecasted multiple times this year and all we’ve got is rain.
Max asked if we could all wear robes since it was a snow day.
Then we made a pillow bed and watch an old muppets movie.
I knew that I had these cinnamon rolls in a can on hand for a good last minute reason.
And then we decided to play in the snow!
He loves to make snow angels.
And Emilia was just like… what is this.
I don’t have snow gear so then I got soaked with snowballs.
I think it’s time for hot chocolate.
And cookies!
We made cookies and went sled riding with friends.
Pretty sure I was close to getting frost bite due to the whole no snow gear thing.
The rest of the weekend was full of sparkle snow.
p.s. I’m pretty sure I’ve wanted my whole life for this.
Emilia looooves watching Max play basketball.
My little queen of hearts.
I’m good on snow now until the end of the year.
We celebrated my MIL’s birthday!
And Emilia is desperate to join in rock, paper, scissors.
Eddie and Max went to Monster Jam!
He had a blast.
I made my old school skillet lasagna with ground turkey and banza lasagna noodles!
And then this one… oh she is mischievous.
xoxo

Love these posts and seeing how much your children are growing.
I bet Emilia would’ve loved Monster Jam too, my girls loved it when they were Max’s age and even into there pre-teen/early teen years. I am good on snow up in Mass too. We’ve hardly had any and am SO glad for it, Although I do love a good snow day. :-) And again love all of Emilia’s outfits, let me know when its acceptable for a woman in her 30’s to dress exactly like that. :-)

I don’t even know how you can function effectively with the cuteness around you! You have such a beautiful family and these pictures always make me smile because I see such good parenting going on.
Snow!!!! I loved the snow shots. We are still waiting for Big Snow here in NJ. We’re getting a ton of rain, though…. not nearly as nice. Thanks for sharing the photos!!
sooo cute! I wish we had gotten snow like that here in eastern PA!
The video ads are keeping me from being able to see your posts! Help!
EMILIA! What a vibe. I just love her spunk.
