The Outcome.

We just had an amazing dinner! Thanks for all of your suggestions in the comments.

I ended up caramelizing the chicken and made a mushroom and wine sauce, along with some grilled herbed bread and a salad. It was one of the best meals we’ve had in a looooong time. In fact, Mr. How Sweet just turned to me and said, “I can’t believe how good that was.”

The best part? It only took 25 minutes from start to finish. (!!)

I didn’t measure a thing, but it was so insanely delicious that I’m thinking of making it again this week. If you guys are interested, I’ll make it and post it as a recipe. What do you think?

Yum! When it comes to cooking (not baking!) I rarely measure and I’ve always been successful… :-)

The Cake Batter Rice Krispies were a HUGE hit in this house… Thank you!!!

That looks so good! I’m obsessed with sandwiches of all different kinds. The other night I did have a fried egg with cheddar sandwich on fresh sourdough, and it was delicious! Breakfast for dinner plus sandwiches is always a winning combination. Back to the subject on hand though, I would love to see a recipe for this! :D

Girl! I made something the other night that you would absolutely love! The mushrooms in this reminded me of it. I broiled a salmon fillet and put that over egg noodles with a sauce made of onions and mushrooms sauteed in a little worschestire sauce (and of course salt, pepper, garlic powder, and just a little dill). Then i added some heavy cream and sour cream to help it thicken a bit. At the end i put in some torn spinach (I swear you cant taste it!!) and a couple dashes of hot sauce. I would eat this every day if i could :)
