You have such fun things in your fridge (well- I guess broccoli isn’t fun)! I have never had that Firefly sweet tea vodka…is it good? What kind of drinks do you make with it? Or…gasp…do you drink it straight?
Thanks to you and all of your TJ posts I went there this week. I bought several new products that were really good…the spicy beef with broccoli (frozen), and a raspberry macaron cake (frozen). They were both AMAZING! Must try’s if you haven’t already tried them! I am trying to figure out how to make the cake- it was THAT good! My only complaint is that it is too darn small…it is supposed to be three servings-huh…I don’t think so! ;-) I also bought the jelly beans…wow are they ever good, too! My family has already eaten an entire bag, so I am going to have to get more of those before they are gone! Thanks for sharing with us, Jessica! :-)
Kim, the Firefly is SO good! What is in the fridge is actually a premade mix that you can drink straight, but we also get the actual vodka – and mix it with lemonade. So good!
And I love to hear about your TJ purchases! Honestly, the serving size is why I don’t buy more of the frozen stuff. I love their frozen stuff but it rarely feeds the two of us. And I just ate a big handful of the jelly beans!

I am so with you about the frozen serving sizes! The Mandarin Chicken package says it serves 5, but I think it really serves 2! My husband could beat the whole thing himself if I let him! :-) The Spicy Beef and Broccoli pkg. says 3 servings, but it’s really one manly portion. I shared it with my husband, but I only had a tiny bit. Even though the portions are small, they sure are delicious! And they are just the ticket for busy evenings when we get home late from sports, etc.
You really do need to try that Raspberry Framboise Macaron Cake- it is to die for! Make sure you get two (I didn’t and now I am craving it!)! :-)
girrrrl, are you sure you aren’t from the south?? that sauce is from NC, my home state and I made the most delicious “fancy” Arnold Palmer with firefly: firefly, lemon sparkling Italian soda and unsweetened tea (I guess you could do sweet but then it would be really sweet withe vodka). delicious, if you are into that sort of thing!!
Just saw that salted caramel at Trader Joe’s yesterday. I was so close to buying it, but was afraid I’d eat the entire thing in one sitting. It looks SOOOOO good. ;-)
I need to buy my coconut milk in a container like that. I’ve never seen it like that at my store though! :(
I’m really loving posts about what’s in people fridges!
Hey Jessica! Why is that broccoli in your fridge? Are you feeling ok (ha, I know your relationship to veggies). All kidding aside, I wanted to let you know that I have been following your blog and recently started my own. I love your wit and decadent looking concoctions (I may have to “healthy them up” to continue being an RD and all, ha). Thanks for the inspiration!
You are my long lost sister. I am a coconut milk girl, though I go unsweetened. In love with Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka…a little too much…the regular flavor, raspberry, and peach. And don’t get me started on the caramel.
I have none of those things in my fridge! My fridge currently has a billion different types of nuts, about a dozen chocolate bars, sunbutter, peanut butter, coconut oil, broccoli, carrots, and horseradish cream. Oh, and weird-ass veggie mince.
I’ve been using coconut milk too, but I still can’t decide if I like it or not… I’m such an almond milk girl. Also, I’ve seen the bone suckin’ sauce on so many blogs!! where do you get it??
that firefly is my most favorite thing in your fridge (close second is the caramel). it makes me happy because it tastes like summertime! mix it with some simply lemon and give me a nice tall glass… i’m a happy girl.
I used that same caramel sauce in caramel delite flavored cake balls- only thing was I used the whole thing so now I have none let and live hours from Trader Joes :(
In PA we can only buy alcohol in state stores (well, they are just now bringing beer and wine into grocery stores) so I can find it at any liquor store!
I bought that caramel after reading this. It is so good, I might never try to make my own! One problem, it gets… hard. On ice cream. That’s ok, since I have no problem eating it with a spoon! Oh, and I pumpkin butter there and I am hopelessly addicted to it. I buy about 10 jars in the fall and stir it into plain yogurt and top with pumpkin seed granola which is the best breakfast ever. And also stir it into oatmeal. And occasionally just eat out of the jar!
Cooks use the terms “horseradish” or “prepared horseradish” to refer to the grated root of the horseradish plant mixed with vinegar. Prepared horseradish is white to creamy-beige in colour. It will keep for months refrigerated but eventually will darken, indicating it is losing flavour and should be replaced. The leaves of the plant, while edible, are not commonly eaten, and are referred to as “horseradish greens”…

I confess, the broccoli threw me for a loop ;)
Hehe.
I’m getting that mustard this weekend. I hope my Whole Foods has it!

I almost bought that caramel sauce on the weekend, but I was afraid what might happen if I brought it into my house.

Just saw that salted caramel at Trader Joe’s yesterday. I was so close to buying it, but was afraid I’d eat the entire thing in one sitting. It looks SOOOOO good. ;-)
Firefly.. LOVE IT!!
That caramel sauce looks divine. I’d probably finish that jar in about an hour and then go back to get more :]
Now I’m hungry…
I need to buy my coconut milk in a container like that. I’ve never seen it like that at my store though! :(

Sounded good til you hit “broccoli.” ;)

I am in need of a trip to Trader Joe’s! I have a list a mile long and that caramel sauce just soared to the top!!
I want to move into your fridge and eat my way out. I’ll even eat the broccoli if I also get to eat (and, ahem, drink) the rest of that stuff!!!

I’ve been using coconut milk too, but I still can’t decide if I like it or not… I’m such an almond milk girl. Also, I’ve seen the bone suckin’ sauce on so many blogs!! where do you get it??

Firefly ROCKS! It’s vodka & sweet tea, how could it not rock?
Coconut milk rocks too, it’s just not as fun :)
Firefly is so good with Mountain Dew… We call them Mountain Doozies. I’m so classy.
And “Bone Suckin'” anything is DELICIOUS!
We get the coconut milk creamer at whole foods… seriously great.
that vodka is looking pretty good too though.
I want to suck some bone.
I live for coconut milk yummm!
that firefly is my most favorite thing in your fridge (close second is the caramel). it makes me happy because it tastes like summertime! mix it with some simply lemon and give me a nice tall glass… i’m a happy girl.
I really want some of that spaghetti and sweet tea voddy. Not together. Grossss
After looking at all of that, I’m hungry too. Including the broccoli. Heck, I feel tempted to dip the broccoli in the caramel sauce…ha ha. J/K.
Oh how I wish we had a Trader Joes in my town! I would totally drink the caramel straight up!!
I used that same caramel sauce in caramel delite flavored cake balls- only thing was I used the whole thing so now I have none let and live hours from Trader Joes :(
Where did you find that vodka? I’m from the St. Louis area and would love to find some to try!
In PA we can only buy alcohol in state stores (well, they are just now bringing beer and wine into grocery stores) so I can find it at any liquor store!
Coconut Milk sounds AMAZING!!! How do you like it compared to regular milk?
I love it better but I never really liked milk before!
Yah, I never was much of a milk drinker either.
