  Ditto. Potato Patch Fries rank number two on my list of favorite places in Pittsburgh area to get french fries with cheese… Of course, my number one spot is The Original Hot Dog Shop in Oakland. Have you been there yet? Soooo delicious. I actually don’t like their hot dogs, though.

Awww…. I hate you so much for posting Potato Patch fry pictures. I miss my hometown like crazy and pictures of Kennywood just make me super jealous :) But I’d agree, that sounds like a perfect Sunday!

And, is the escalator pic from the Pittsburg Zoo…I am guessing no since everything is Kennywood, but I was at the Pitts Zoo once and it that is what it made me think!

I’ve been hearing about Kennywood for many years from my best friend, who comes from western PA. Another place she went to all the time was Idlewild Park. Any of you guys from up there ever heard of it?

  Yep I don’t live too far away – used to go every summer! It is geared more towards younger kids and families so I haven’t been there in a few years.

I learned a valuable lesson at Kennywood last summer. If the Thunderbolt’s sign says the heavier person should sit on the right….THEY SHOULD SIT ON THE RIGHT.
