I love anything in mason jars, I’m kitchy like that. Salad in a jar makes so much sense, though it does make it a bit heavier to carry…ahh well!

I actually just made the Sloppy Josephs last night! We didn’t do the fried egg and avocado (I know, I’m sure it makes it!!!) but it was delicious and satisfied my two week craving for Sloppy Joe’s.

I made the NY Times Chocolate Whiskey Cake (http://www.nytimes.com/recipes/1014419/chocolate-whiskey-cake.html) which looks very similar. I can tell you that it rocked my world. It is ahh-mazing. I topped it with a thick layer of the simple vanilla buttercream frosting from Mel’s Kitchen Cafe. Nom.
