Free Chocolate. [Plus a Williams Sonoma gift card!]
I am a chocolate snob. A big one.
So it comes as no surprise that I absolutely adore Sarris‘ chocolate since it is touted as “the world’s best chocolate.” Honestly – it is! I would know – I’ve done my fair share of chocolate tasting, especially with Sarris since they are right here in Pittsburgh.
Sarris‘ is full of nostalgia for me. With it being right down the road from my grandparents‘ house, we would take a trip to get ice cream and marvel at all of the chocolate creations. It is basically my mecca. My mom would also always buy multiple bags of chocolate covered pretzels to give as hostess gifts or to serve at a party, but I would inevitably discover them and eat them all before she could do so. I also use Sarris‘ in many of my chocolate covered treats, because it truly is one of my favorite chocolates. Right up there with Godiva. In fact, yesterday I melted a few milk chocolate bars [you can find them at Giant Eagle if you’re local] to make more cake batter bark, as well as a recipe you will see later this week. It is to die for.
And I only coat my strawberries with Sarris – nothin’ else!
The kind people at Sarris are giving away free chocolate to one How Sweet It Is reader – in the name of all things chocolate, you must give it a try! I would never lead you astray and would never give you something I didn’t adore. The lucky winner will receive chocolate covered pretzels (the best I’ve ever had) and a deluxe box of chocolate.
I’m throwing in a $25 Williams and Sonoma gift card because I am so appreciative to each and every one of you – without you there wouldn’t be a How Sweet It Is! You guys mean the world to me.

My heart desires:
Chocolate that doesn’t make me fat. I want to eat it everyday with no consequences to my waistline. I don’t think that is unreasonable. :-)
I’ve found chocolate that I love, but am always trying others to see if there is anything better. (Worked with someone a few years ago that turned me into a chocolate snob) Would love to give Sarris a try, since it’s not anything easily found here on the west coast.
wow, lots of responses! We must really love your recipes, hehe! Yes I do! and I’ll take that chocolate anyday. Thanks friend.

I haven’t tried Sarris Chocolate but it looks so yummy!!! and WS is my FAVORITE store :)
Love your website (and chocolate!) Merry Christmas!
Just wanted to say that I love your blog! I love chocolate and all things sweet (like you), and I love bacon. But I must admit that I do like most veggies. :)
And…where I’m from (small town in IL), there are no Williams-Sonoma stores. I’ve only been in one, and someday I’m gonna make sure that I live near one so that I can go there all the time! :)

I met up with my mom today at Ross Park Mall and while in Williams-Sonoma I managed to spill an entire cup of tea all over the floor. I may or may not be allowed back in. I ooze classiness. ;)
That said, I’d like to buy every single thing in that store… and some Sarris choc pretzels certainly wouldn’t hurt either!

Hello!
I just want to say how much I love reading your posts. I have tried SOO many of your recipes and they all were so yummy. Even though I am super busy right now, working two jobs and going to school, I always find time to read your posts. They always fill my head with images of delicious foods and new ideas for dinner/dessert, and clear away all the stress of the day! So thank you!! = )
What my heart desires isn’t possible. I lost my littlest man (15 months) this summer. I would love to spend 5 more minutes with him and hug him and tell him that I love him so much.
Oh my gossh, must make that bark – holy deliciousness!!
After a day taking care of my 5 year old with the stomach flu, there is nothing more my heart desires than for him to get better and to dive into some amazing chocolate.
Free chocolate? Pick me, pick me!

Am I the only one who loves all of the egg nog related items that crop up around christmastime? I generally like them better than store bought eggnog (homemade can be superb).
