My freezer was full of baked goods. To the point that I had to cook up shrimp for dinner one night because there was no longer room for it.
I gave some away.
Cooked frozen veggies.
Gave more away.
Guess what I’m doing today?
See, I don’t really have the problem of vegetables in my fridge. More like ice cream and frozen cookies.
Send some my way! I’m having a holiday party tonight & could use some extra sweets! :)
On my way!!! :)
How happy is Mr. How Sweet right now?
I’m not sure. He is in a sugar coma so I can’t ask.
I love it! I hope he’s feeling better soon. :)
I’ll volunteer to help out!! =D
Feel free to ship some to me;)

I can’t imagine. Too bad you could not have started this last year. I would have enjoyed the sugar highs at work.
If only I hadn’t transferred from Carnegie Mellon. Then I’d only be a short drive around when these crises happened.
You went to CMU? Did we discuss this? Probably, it’s just that blogging has left me with no memory.
there is no such thing as overbaking!! and with all that snow, what else were you to do? you had to keep warm :)
I’d happily help you out x x
omg i have cookies covering every surface! having a christmas party tonight and the theme is champagne & cookies!!
Why yes, I would be happy to take those off of your hands.
You can ship them to…. ;-)
So funny you just posted this I was talking about you this morning with my husband and I was saying I wonder what you did with all the food. He thought you must eat it and I was like there is no way. After showing him the blog today he agreed that it was impossible for one household to eat all this. What do you normall do with everything?
I talk about this in my faqs but wrote more about it here: http://www.howsweeteats.com/2010/08/30/baking-for-two/
This time of year is different because I am baking for holidays and we take big cookie/dessert trays everywhere we go. Otherwise, I usually 1/4 a recipe or we entertain/go to parties and take it with us. Blogging is also my full time job so cooking and baking is my work – gotta do what ya gotta do! ;)
That is a fantastic problem to have, and I’d be happy to ameliorate your problem.
If only I lived closer.
I was on my way 5 mins ago :) We never have that problem at my house! 5 Hangry ppl!
heheh what I would do to be in your house right now! :)
I feel your pain. I somehow ended up baking way more cookies than I had planned. I was forcing bags of cookies on guests last night. I still have lots of cookies. Lots. And we leave Monday. Every person I see from now until then will be getting a bag!
This makes me want to just jump in the car and drive to grandma’s (she lives in Pittsburgh), and help you clear out out some fridge space. :)
I have so many baked goods in my freezer it’s not even funny!
Bring some tomorrow and I think I can help you with your problem!!
Those look adorable. I would have no problem taking those off your hands.
Is there such a thing??? Cause then I would need some help over *here*. :)
out of my way people, im coming to the rescue and bringing a voracious appetite <3 <3
Perhaps do a Christmas giveaway? :D
