Free Chocolate. [Plus a Williams Sonoma gift card!]
I am a chocolate snob. A big one.
So it comes as no surprise that I absolutely adore Sarris‘ chocolate since it is touted as “the world’s best chocolate.” Honestly – it is! I would know – I’ve done my fair share of chocolate tasting, especially with Sarris since they are right here in Pittsburgh.
Sarris‘ is full of nostalgia for me. With it being right down the road from my grandparents‘ house, we would take a trip to get ice cream and marvel at all of the chocolate creations. It is basically my mecca. My mom would also always buy multiple bags of chocolate covered pretzels to give as hostess gifts or to serve at a party, but I would inevitably discover them and eat them all before she could do so. I also use Sarris‘ in many of my chocolate covered treats, because it truly is one of my favorite chocolates. Right up there with Godiva. In fact, yesterday I melted a few milk chocolate bars [you can find them at Giant Eagle if you’re local] to make more cake batter bark, as well as a recipe you will see later this week. It is to die for.
And I only coat my strawberries with Sarris – nothin’ else!
The kind people at Sarris are giving away free chocolate to one How Sweet It Is reader – in the name of all things chocolate, you must give it a try! I would never lead you astray and would never give you something I didn’t adore. The lucky winner will receive chocolate covered pretzels (the best I’ve ever had) and a deluxe box of chocolate.
I’m throwing in a $25 Williams and Sonoma gift card because I am so appreciative to each and every one of you – without you there wouldn’t be a How Sweet It Is! You guys mean the world to me.

Free chocolate from the best blog baker? Enter my name!
My brother hates chocolate. How can he call himself human?
omg the peanut butter meltaway pie looks amazing…is Saris a PA company? My husband is from Centre County and loves him some peanut butter chocolate combos and especially becomes giddy (yes, giddy) when gifted things from his (his, and no one elses’) home state of PA!
Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
CHOCOLATE…*drooool*
We will be doing some pretzel log dipping in chocolate this week. My son loves those chocolate covered pretzels.
As a lifetime vegetarian, your blog has inspired me to take bites of bacon every now and then. Best decision of my life.
OMG! CHOCOLATE!!!!!! AHHHHHHH I MUST HAVE!
Dear Jessica,
Thank you for bringing How Sweet Eats into my life. Who knew I was missing out! Thanks for being a lover of chocolate and bacon. We’re kindred spirits.
What a fun giveaway! And really your bark is stunning (and for some reason that sounds weird)
i’m starting to make goodies for christmas eve, and was focusing on truffles, but i keep seeing your cake batter bark and think it might just be time to give it a try!
I’ve never had their chocolate before!! Yumm :)
I would love to get a Kitchen Aid ice cream maker attachment for my mixer. And make ice cream with chocolate in it! Mmmm!
I think a fellow PA girl should win, especially since I never tasted Sarris’ chocolate. I’m stuck here in Hershey and as much as I love my town, the chocolate has gotten worse and worse, forcing me to be a chocolate snob, too!
OH!! Chocolate!!!! :) Merry Christmas!
I recently saw someone selling Chocolate covered Bacon, wonder how it tastes???

Dear Jessica,
You are a woman after my own heart–I die for chocolate. :) Also, my husband and I are considering moving to Pittsburgh. Perhaps a taste of the city’s delicious chocolate can further convince us?
Have a wonderful holiday!

Well….I’m starting to feel like I your blog creeper! lol I’ve got the stuff to make that bark here too & will be doing that soon. My FIL is as much of a sweet junkie as me so he’ll be thrilled with it!
Thanks again for sharing your stuff girl! :)
Never heard of that chocolate, but totally willing to give it a try. WS? LOVE THEM! Anyways, my little heart would like to tell you that I love the cake batter chocolate. I have been making the candy cane bark for a long time…although we call it Christmas crack (obviously because of it’s addictive nature). Although, when your six year old daughter asks her playdate friends and parents if they want some crack, I have a little ‘splaining to do!! Anyways, made my crack without the peppermint but substituted your idea of cake batter, and then sprinkles…it was a hit! THanks!!
I’ve been a little down on my luck, so winning free chocolate would make things a touch sweeter! Thanks for the chance. :) I’ll be gifting this to my mother if I win!
Thanks for the giveaway. You want to know a secret I have never been in a Williams Sonoma. Gasp! I know! I have only browsed their website… so I would love to go on a little shopping trip there! Oh and chocolate never hurt anyone!
I will admit first that I’ve been a lurker, too shy to leave a comment, but you mentioned having the best chocolate covered pretzels ever from Sarris and I had to speak up. If I could only take two things to a deserted island, hands down chocolate covered pretzels and peanut butter…sorry boys. Regardless of the outcome I’m glad I was prompted to scribble something to you. Your blog is just a fun, postive place that I’m glad I found and inspires me to let go of rules around food and just enjoy it. So thank you.
I love chocolate and I love your blog!
Merry Christmas!! What is better then chocolate and some Williams Sonoma?
i am going to make that cake batter bark this week for christmas with Christmas colored sprinkles!!!

Chocolate! I would love to try what YOU call the best chocolate ever! Though, I would need to amp up my exercise about 200%. No problem.

MMM that chocolate bark looks delicious, and the Sarris chocolates sound amazing (I’ve never tried them). Happy holidays!
All I want for Xmas is more time off. I am lucky to get 2 days off, but I wish I could have more time to spend with friends and family!
Free chocolate? Count me in :D
My little heart desires good health for everyone!
I love Sarris candy! I was in Pittsburgh over thanksgiving and had my first experience with their chocolate and I fell in love. The dark chocolate with coconut is by far the best I have ever tried! I cannot wait to go back.
My husband is quite the chocolate snob as well. He is slowly turning me in to one also.
We have never tried this chocolate yet. I must remedy that right away!!
What could be better than winning chocolate and Williams Sonoma cash moneyz? Nothing!
Mmmmmmm. Looks yummy like everything else on your site! And I’ve never tried Sarris before. :)
