oh NO !! five second rule?? ;)
awwww man! eggs on the carpet are no good at all.
Uh oh! I totally thought of you last night when my kitchen exploded! I had two separate meals going at once and I made a HUGE mess! The sad thing, is that is tasted ok, but not worth the mess…and I have leftovers to eat before I can make anything else.
I feel your pain!
This is why I like having hard wood flooring and no carpeting!
I need that.
Or a dog to eat it up off the floor. ;)
I know this was not your intention at all, but now I want eggs.
It’s like they committed suicide..I mean egicide!
whenever i spill food i think to myself, “at least it wasn’t flour!”
Very good point.
No use crying over spilled eggs, right? I did, however, cry when my dog ate my eggs while I was in the bathroom. It’s totally cool to cry when someone else eats your food.
Hahah! Oh man…
does it help that I just sloshed an entire cup of hot chocolate on my carpet?
cathy b. @ brightbakes
Oh no! Hope your carpet isn’t a super light color/that it comes out!
ugh, i HATE it when that happens!
haha. Welcome to my life. If I was there with you, I would opt to go somewhere with wine or martinis for lunch instead. :)
I haaate when that happens!!! =(
And I drop stuff ALL the time!
Don’t you hate when your day gets off to that kind of start?? Then it’s seems like everything else is screwy the rest of the day!
oh man, eggs on the carpet is bad news. However, I recently dropped a WHOLE bowel of chili on the carpet… that is reallllly not fun. I thought I did a good job of cleaning it too and then my husband got home from work and the first thing he said to me was “what the heck happened to the carpet” :s.
Girl… I JUST did that Tuesday and the same thing happened with Mr. How Sweet! I’m posting about it tonight.
ahhh no i hate when that happens too – always happens to me when there is only 1 egg left and thats what i wanted for lunch :( boo.
ps. just found your blog and totally bookmarked like 10 recipes – especially those ww white chocolate coconut pancakes :) yum!
Glad you found me Kailey! :)
If it’s any consolation, I spilled 1/4 a POT of coffee this morning when the lid conveniently came off. That was fun.
Once I put an egg that I thought was still a little undercooked in a microwave. In case you were wondering, it takes approximately 10 seconds until it blows up all over the microwave and about 15 minutes to clean it up afterwards. I’d like to lie and say I did it years ago when I was learning how to cook but the truth is that it happened a couple of months ago.
Oh my…. hahahah.
I spill…everything. I feel your pain.
Sad day! :(
Awww man. Even if it wasn’t on the carpet, eggs are still no fun to clean up. :-(
been one of those days~~must be the weather!!LOL!!
classic. too bad you don’t have a dog. or a crawling toddler :)
I have to know- did you eat them anyway?
Eat them I did!
That’s why you need to get a puppy.
This is one of those times I’m happy I have no carpeting… I’ve had days like that, I hope your day has improved since the egg dropped… = )
Oh no! Hopefully the yolk didn’t leave a stain :(
