Crumbs Mr. How Sweet Goes To The Store… Again?! by Jessica January 17, 2011 I’ll just never learn. This time, he came back with over 12 bags of brown rice. Quite a change from his last two trips. But that’s all he came back with. posted in: Crumbs 51 comments

hahaha! That is so random and funny. I love when you tell us what he brings back from the store.
I would ask if he’s afraid of going hungry…but my pantry looks very similar.
must have been on sale! that’s the kind i buy too. love it :) but only the plain brown…the rest are super high in sodium!
LOL…Ryan is obsessed with those instant rice packets. What is the deal?! :-)
Omg I buy that rice sometimes as a “treat” for Scott. I make all kinds of things with it and it’s soooo convenient.
Can’t wait to see what you make. Mr Sweet is clearly hinting for something with all those bags!
hahaha I love it!! So random.
12 bags? Maybe there was an awesome deal? :)
My boyfriend goes through those things like it’s his job. He and Mr. How Sweet should start a brown rice club.
Bahahah! Too funny :) Savory kick?
At least he got the brown rice… healthier than white! LOL
At least it’s whole grain:-)
Too funny! I guess you should be happy that he can fend for himself should the need arise???
At least it wasn’t a used Bible from the pew.
Seriously, we need to start a new blog called:
“What He Brought Home.”
that would be the most amazing blog ever…i would totally contribute the random Home Depot finds from Nate!
Ha! No kidding.
Whenever I send my husband to the store, I get 80 phone calls.
Where is the diced tomatoes?
Is this a good price for chicken?
Hey, can I buy ice cream?
Oh yes. We go through that too.
I can see this happening at my house!
Hmmm, what the heck does one do with that many bags of rice?
You tell me!
On the plus side, it is brown rice and not white!
lol i love it… at least he goes!
bahahahahaha! was there a sale? so random!!!!
Love it… that’s hilarious!
12 bags?!!? Goodness!
The Husband is absolutely NOT allowed to go to the store. He came home with chips (we already have 3 bags), Smores Cereal (disgusting) and soda. Oh, and an economy sized package of kleenex.
Hmmm … why do I think S’mores Cereal sounds good? Maybe I’m just hungry.
Too funny! I’d hate to see what would happen if he went to costco!
He does… it’s scary.
LOL I have a shopper like his at my house too. I guess they like to have a little bit of say once in awhile.
You mean, when will “he” learn.
I don’t think I’d ever send my husband to the store for anything. Who knows what he’d come back with. :)
hahaha, men should not be allowed to food shop. Woman only zone!
Carbalicious! Hey, at least it’s brown rice, right?
At least he shopped…??? :-)
It’s the thought that counts, right? ;)
Haha, brown rice is very versatile! You can make chocolate bacon brown rice right?
Haha, someone loves his instant rice!
hahahaha! how funny!! :)
haha stories about Mr. How Sweet’s grocery trips crack me up!

HAHAHAHA!!! Take a look at this post on my hubby!!! At least I know it’s part of his genes now!
I wonder why only 12 bags of rice….. how very odd. :) Just another reason that you love him so much. :)
I laughed out loud when I read this post! My husband comes back from the store with random things (usually too many granola bars), too! He has never come home with 12 bags of brown rice, though…although I will never say never! :-)
That Uncle Ben’s rice is good, but I am scared to microwave it in the package as directed. I don’t microwave anything in plastic or covered in plastic wrap (I am concerned about BPA). I dump the rice into a microwave safe bowl cover it with wax paper or a paper plate before microwaving.
Also- I love the Trader Joe’s frozen brown rice…have you tried that yet? Being a TJ’s lover, you probably have!
My husband came home with 5 boxes of cereal to add to his other 3 and a gallon of milk a couple of weeks ago. Nevermind the long grocery list of items we really needed. Oh, and we dont have any children, just us two and cereal!!
I feel your pain!
HA! He is such a goofball!
LOL! Sending my husband to the store results in many many things we don’t need, but that I end up eating because he brought them home (boxes of Entemann’s donuts, Naked juices, a new candy bar etc…)!
