Oh Mylanta.
My eyes just about bulged out of my head when I got the mail yesterday.
Reader Kristen sent me these:
Yes. I know. I almost died too.
Kristen told me they lasted her about a week. Um, excuse me… a week? These are never going to last that long. They taste even better than they look. And I am a chocolate snob! I am obsessed. Has anyone else ever tasted these or seen them? I need to buy as many boxes as I can.

holy crap! where can i buy those!?! :) :)
You need to figure out how to make them!
I second that! :-)
They are so cute!
Holy wow. They look amazing. More cake batter recipes to discover…Cake Batter Balls recipe to be created??
those look so good! and are so “you!”
Oh my gosh those look unbelievable!!!
I have NEVER heard of these, but that filling! It looks awesome.
No, but Kristen please send them to me. They look incredible!!! If you do find them, please share where!
I discovered them while at Macy’s on State Street! They are “limited edition” but I imagine they still have some left…I might have to go back and stock up, as they were delicious.
The only lasted me a week because I also got my Girl Scout cookie order the SAME DAY. My sweet tooth (teeth) was a little promiscuous that week.
Knowing that you had Girl Scout cookies at the same time makes me feel better. No way would those last longer than two days with me! Off to Macy’s :)
Where can you find these? Better yet, whip some up & post the recipe! (I’m sure you’re not working on anything else, right?) ;)
Oh my God. I’m Googling those right now, because I NEED to try them.
lol! I just googled them, too!!!
i can’t find them! :(
omg. I love cake batter anything. Add those to my list of cake batter pancakes, cinnamon rolls, crack brownies. miss you
I need these…now…i’m on my way to your house! lol
That looks like something I need to recreate at home!!! Wow. Thanks for the inspiration! :) If they had a “bacon sprinkles” one, I think it would be perfectly “you”, but alas, these are pretty close ;) Yum!
I may or may not have started drooling a little at work. Wow. I want.
I’m not typically an envious person, but…I want those. Correction: I need those. Google tells me that Macy’s sells them. I don’t care if I have to use all my tax refund to buy them either.
yeah.. those would not last a week… now where on earth do I go buy these things?? :D
THOSE EXIST?!
I have never seen those before! Things like that make me wonder what other wonderful things out in the world I’m missing out on! :-)
You might try Macy’s. They sell Frango chocolates…but not sure I’ve see the cake batter chocolates….noticed it said Limited Edition. Bummer!
I got them just over a week ago at Macy’s!
Thanks Kristen! How long do you think they will be there? I need these :)
 Never heard of them!! That’s awesome, though! LOL Just when I think I’ve seen it all…
You’re going to stockpile this now aren’t you? Boxes upon boxes stashed in your freezer? :)
I NEED those!! They look so good and I, like you, love cake batter flavor. They would probably only last a couple of days in my hands!
oh wow! my sister would be in heaven!
Wow! those look delicious!!
You need to figure out how to make cake batter truffles! :)
ohmylanta is right.
must have those!!!
Where can they be found? I’m going to “submit comment” and then head to Google.
Macy’s!
Oh please find out where Kristan got these. I googled them but no luck:(
I think Macy’s!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think recipe development should be forthcoming
i have never seen these, but i think you may need to recreate them this week!
Oh my!! These look fabulous.. and I’m a chocolate snob too! Mmmm….. I may need to go on a google search! :-)
If they were in my house, I think the box would be gone in a day. I bet they taste amazing!
Holy moly batman! I want a box of these beside me right now. I better get off this computer and head to Macy’s. Or I shall try to buy online!
Love it!
OMG, they look nothing less than amazing!! I wish I could get chocolate like that in Denmark :-)
My best,
Birthe from Denmark
Those are perfect for you!
WOW! Those look incredibly good. I wasn’t sold on the idea until you showed us the inside. Then, I died.
I think they sell Frango chocolates at Macy’s … and I think there’s also a Frango cookbook they used to sell. Too much to hope for that the recipe for these would be in it?
I could be wrong..but I’m guessing that these are only available in Chicago since they are limited edition. They look amazing though!
Let me know if you can’t find them near you! I’m a fantastic enabler when it comes to sweets.
These look so delicious, I love Frango and all the unique flavors they come up with.
OH MY GOODNESS! These sound to die for. Pretty sure they’d last me about 7 minutes – I don’t know how they lasted Kristen 7 days!
Just called my local Macy’s (in MN) and they have them. Stopping on the way home!!!
Oh my gosh, you are a girl after my own heart!
Macy’s was Dayton’s which was Marshall Field’s….and Dayton’s is/was based out of MN. So they BETTER have them here!
Those chocolates look amazing!!
Oh how I need these…and they don’t sell them online!
OMG!!!
Oh my sweet jesus… I need to track these down!
Forget about stopping at the grocery store on the way home to pick up dinner fixings…Macy’s is WAY more important today! Who needs dinner when you can have chocolate!
At first I thought you were making a pun and saying you were coming to Atlanta with the “Oh Mylanta” title. I was stoked! Although these….these leave me almost as stoked. Or maybe more. No. You would still win because then you could BRING these and we could eat them together while playing with the kiddos.
AH! Whereeeeeee did she get these?
I’m just honked that I’ve never seen these before!!! Time to head to the Chicago & visit Macys on State!!!! FYI, you can watch them make Frango’s there. Yummy!
I am now going to scour the internet looking for these. I bet they would be amazing straight from the freezer.
I was going to make cake balls/pops with rainbow chip cake mix to take to my daughter’s class for treats on her birthday. These look like a whole lot less work, they probably taste better, but kindergarteners are not worthy of such goodness.
So, how about I buy a box for myself and eat them while making the cake balls for the kindergarteners?
