Ditto on the spoon. Actually ditch the spoon, fingers work fine.
Recreate Ben & Jerry’s new ice cream flavor (http://www.benjerry.com/flavors/feature/late-night-snack/), I dare you to make chocolate covered potato chip balls. If ever there was a person to complete this fantasy for me .. you’re it.
Have you ever tried the Triple Ginger Snaps from Trader Joe’s? They’re such good cookies on their own, but dipped in that caramel sauce they’re like heaven. If you don’t have cookies, a spoon will do. :)
I actually bought this stuff because I saw it on your blog! :) I am TOTALLY OBSESSED! First, I didn’t have any ice cream, so I ate it with an apple. When the apple ran out, I used my finger. Now, I usually just drizzle it over vanilla ice cream (I go with the light ice cream so I can use more caramel sauce…). I would love, love, LOVE some salted caramel ice cream, though.
Last time I was at TJ’s I actually found salted caramel ice cream. Well, actually it’s chocolate ice cream with the salted caramel swirled in. It. Is. To. Die. For.
Okay, so I am not a food photographer by any means so don’t judge from my picture, but these Praline Crumb Caramel Cheesecake bars were AMAZING. Seriously. They are possibly worth gaining 5 pounds…
I make a caramel that we just keep in a tub in the fridge to dip stuff into….apples, bananas, cookies, etc.
You could bake some chocolate thumbprint cookies with the caramel in the middle. Or sandwich caramel in between two cookies. Or bake brownies and glaze them with chocolate glaze, and top them with some caramel…..
don’t drop it all over the floor and have it shatter. that’s what’s NOT to do. That’s what I did with the last jar of TJ’s caramel sauce about a week ago…sticky, glass shards everywhere, I even linked to you and your Pyrex explosion in that post b/c it was SUCH a mess.
I am getting a flashback just looking at that jar of caramel. lol.

simply over ice cream is ideal; if you can mix it in something with ganache, you’d cure my PMS.
I have an insane pretzel, ganache and caramel tart on my blog. the absolute cure for PMS!

Chocolate covered potato chips are one of my specialties at Christmas!
This is exactly what I was going to say Jessica should do too! I LOVE that ice cream!!!!!
You could make coconut caramel bars
Dark chocolate brownies, then swirl the carmel throughout them, bake them and then drizzle it on top :)
This recipe starts with butter and sugar but you could easily skip straight ahead to burning pre-made caramel and go from there.

Salted caramel bacon brownies. Sounds heavenly, right?
Now, I admit, I’ve never tried these, but they sound RIGHT up your alley:
http://savour-fare.com/2010/03/17/bacon-salted-caramel-brownies/ I imagine you could make substitutions that would mean you can use pre-made caramel.

peanut butter marble cake with salted caramel glaze! Saw it in cooking light long ago and it looked divine!
Chocolate-covered caramel buttercream frosting
so the first thing i thought of was caramel and shrimp! now, i dunno how this tastes…but http://www.closetcooking.com/2009/01/vietnamese-caramel-shrimp-tom-rim.html has a caramel shrimp recipe…and that sounds wonderful to me! :) plus it’s not an outright dessert! so it’s healthy, right?

Some kind of caramel apple cupcakes with an out-of-this world vanilla caramel icing!
I bought this sauce based on your recommendation. I topped brownies with it. Yum!
These:

But replace the dulce de leche with salted caramel!
You should “fancy” these up!

I have a really easy recipe.
1. Twist top off.
2. Dip finger in.
3. Lick finger.
4. Repeat.
Banoffee Pie, yummmmm :)
Salted caramel cheesecake brownies. With caramel whipped cream.

I’ve been having it over waffles with sliced bananas. So Good!
I just found this recipe yesterday:http://www.mybakingaddiction.com/sweet-and-salty-brownies/
You could use it for the middle caramel layer! Drool.

Or maybe in a sticky sauce for Chicken wings??
caramel is good on its own, but if you must, how about caramel cream puffs?
Apple pecan caramel cookie bars. I’ve never seen it or eaten it, but those things go soooooo well together, I can taste it now. AND I WANT SOME.
