Cake Batter Martinis.
This has my name alllll over it.
I know I just shared a big, fuzzy drink with you yesterday but before you go voting me off the island, hear me out.
I.couldn’t.help.it.
I teased you about it last week and couldn’t wait another day to share!
So here’s the deal. I strive my hardest to develop recipes to share with you guys that are simple, easy, and most importantly – filled with accessible ingredients that you most likely have on hand.
This obviously doesn’t fit that bill… but can you blame me?
I have no issue running to the grocery store and spending major bucks to create a recipe to tell you about… however, I just can’t justify dropping a benny at the liquor store for one outlandish drink that I may sip once a year. I had all of these ingredients on hand – except for creme do cacao, which I did purchase (it was cheap: $11.)
[And really, while we’re in the circle of trust here I will tell you that I searched high and low (read: 5 different liquor stores) for this cake-flavored vodka. If you can find it… smuggle me a bottle. I’ll zip my lips.]
I highly suggest buying the whipped cream vodka because, um… well hello? It’s whipped cream vodka. For reals. And the Godiva liqueur is just… white chocolate liqueur… does it need an explanation?
K. I’m gonna shut up now because I have you convinced to go buy 7 bottles of booze while you’re still in your pajamas.
I’ll be honest: I didn’t have high expectations for this drink. I love my heavy cream in everything from brownies to mac and cheese, but in my alcoholic drinks? Not a fan. Don’t even try to give me a white russian. But this totally changed my mind. I’m not sure I could drink more than one (okay… who are we kidding…), but they were super fun actually tasted like cake batter. Once in a lifetime drink if ya ask me!
Cake Batter Martinis
Ingredients
- 1 ounce amaretto
- 1 1/2 ounces Pinnacle whipped cream vodka
- 1 1/2 ounces creme de cacao
- 1/2 ounce Godiva white chocolate liqueur
- 1 ounce heavy cream
- assorted sprinkles, nonpareils work best
- frosting
Instructions
- Using your finger, coat the rim of your glass with frosting – make sure not to miss any spots! Dump sprinkles on a plate and press glass rim into sprinkles, pressing to adhere. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for about 30 seconds. Strain into glass and drink!
- [If you do not want to buy any of these crazy ingredients, try the original version I adapted above which only requires vanilla vodka. It is still delicious but wasn’t quite “cupcake material” in my opinion. But you know I’m whack.]

Did you make this recipe?

I appreciate you so much!
Oh P.S. -> just don’t look in the mirror after you’re done. Your lips and tongue will be sprinkle-colored. Totally worth it. Now no more drink recipes! [until next weekend.]

That is my kind of martini! Have a fabulous vacation:-)
That is a martini I can get behind! So pretty!
“I highly suggest buying the whipped cream vodka”–
I didnt even know that EXISTS!!!!
I posted earlier on Thurs or Fri about white pomegranate Stoli vodka that I saw as the groc store. That was a new one to me.
I love every single liquor in this recipe. Holy moly they sound good! You need to get a job at a resort making fancy martinis. They’re hiring at about 17 of them in Aruba. You could be the head recipe developer for fancy drinks. I would kinda love that job :)
I am actually sitting here in my pj’s and wondering if the liquor store is open . Is it legal to have a martini before your morning coffee? (I mean, that is if the liquor store is open, of course)
Well… it’s the weekend. ;)
WHIPPED CREAM VODKA!?!!? how did I not know about this!?!?
AH! You NEED to get it. They also have chocolate whipped cream vodka. I have that too – not quite as good but still delicious.
WHOA, whipped cream vodka?
Now I have to be on the lookout for this AND the cake batter vodka (also by Pinnacle)…
Oh you kill me! This sounds far too good…. Happy vacationing!
i love how you’ve decorated it with sprinkles on top !
I didn’t know this exists either! I’m thinking I’d love this at my future housewarming party! this is amazing, I think you’ve outdone yourself!
Ingenious, never seen anything like this. Great way to combine desserts and drinks into one, even kids will love this one:)
Looks yummy! I just heard they came out with a cupcake flavor vodka….I might try that in a recipe.
you totally have me thinking about going to the liquor store in my pjs. at 7:40 am. i might just be their first customer today.
These would be super-fun to serve to parents at a kid’s birthday party! Something to take the edge off the running screaming craziness that would also put a smile on everyone’s face. Great idea!
I love that idea!!
I just love the sprinkles on the glass- such a fun touch! This would make an awesome “dessert”
Oh my goodness. This is just not fair. And I have to say…sprinkle-colored lips and tongue just sound like a BONUS of drinking this to me ;)
You are a frikkin’ lunatic. And/or my soulmate.
You CAN always order the cake flavored Vodka online -=D What state do you live in though, I*ve seen it around here before. Do I have to send you a bottle?? LOL! I*ve seen the cupcake vodka before come in “chiffon” and “frosting” flavors!! And the vodka infused whipped cream – AMAZING! Some flavors are good some are ehhh. The Strawberry flavor is pretty good as well as of course the regular whipped cream!
I have to admit that I’m a little grossed out :). I’m not quite sure what to think of this drink! It looks very pretty at least!
You have the cleverest ideas. This is the kind of martini I want to drink!
UV vodka makes a cake flavored Vodka also! It is delicious and really does taste like cake!!! We normally drink it on ice, but what a fun way to decorate the glass!! Can’t wait to try this recipe though!!!
This looks delish! Is it wrong to crave this at 8am? :) I love unique cocktails to entertain with. This would have been perfect for my twins birthday party last weekend (for the adults of course). Definitely going to try this with the whipped cream vodka…yum!
Are you for real? This is the best thing since cake batter ice cream.
mmmm…..I love this recipe, but I’m not a fan of amaretto at all. Is it a noticeable taste or can I substitute something else perhaps?
P.S. Whipped cream vodka and orange soda is sooo good. Just like a creamsicle. If you like those!
Dessert martinis? YAS
OH M GEE!!!
I’m headed to the store right now!
That is all.
THIS IS AMAZING!
Omg yum! I love whipped cream vodka.. I strongly suggest combining WCV with Frangelico martini style. It is a hazelnut lovers (me!) dream!!
Ummm best. dessert. everrrrrrrrrrr. ? I’m thinking yes.
Oh my stars!!! Looks like I’ll be making a run to the liquor store…is it open at 7:40am?
You, my dear, are a genius!
this. looks. amazing.
This looks pretty good! This sounds like a great drink for a girls night!
Have to try this! What a fun recipe :)
It’s a dang good thing Mom and I shop at the Ft. Sam Class Six store here in San Antonio. Seems the only place that vodka is available is on military bases. I am having a hard time deciding which several of their 29 flavors to buy… This is a great recipe, though!!!
Totally making these for my sister’s bachelorette party!
That’s so fun! I’m like you in that I don’t like creamy drinks typically but I could make an exception for this!
This is such a cute idea, I love the sprinkles rim!
I’m so loving this!!
I have the whipped cream vodka, but have YET to hear of the cake flavored one!!! I am going on the hunt for it today while I’m at the liquor store, because, well I WILL be making these today…hope you don’t mind all my pingbacks ;) You are my hero! :D
I bought cake flavored vodka the other day and the very kind clerk was nice enough to take me back to the tasting counter to try lemon chiffon, devil’s food, frosting and whipped cream flavors. My bar may need to grow.
Surprisingly enough, we can get cake vodka in Arkansas. I work part-time at a liquor store and I sold a couple bottles last night. So can you just use cake vodka instead of the whipped?
My husband likes to mix this vodka with diet sunkist so it tastes like a creamsicle…but also fyi they make whipped cream in an aerosol can that has alcohol in it! I’ve only seen it in Florida, but it is awesome, you need it!
I’ve never been a martini fan but I am so gonna have to try this! Thanks for sharing. :)
Oh wow! I love the sprinkles around the rim :)
Oh my goodness, and the frosting under the sprinkles on the rim…YUM!!!
Dreaming about this drink…
You have some very fun and interesting stuff here! I love it! I made your caprese egg cups and blogged about them. YUMMY!!
Thanks Kris!
oh wow..this is a life changer. I feel the same way about the cream in cocktails, but I’d be willing to change my ways for this.
Also, the whipped cream vodka is pretty perfect!
Oh my gosh the sprinkle rimmed glasses are adorable. What a great idea!
Ameretto is my very favorite booze EVAR!!
This looks absolutely AMAZING!
I too am not a fan of cream alcoholic drinks — but this looks amazing. And the sprinkles — how adorable!
Here is another brand. I know you can have it shipped for around $17 a bottle. You can also fine the cake vodka online. http://www.cupcakevodka.com/delicious-flavors/
And I JUST convinced myself to put away the Godiva white chocolate for the summer… I think I’m going to have to find a special occasion for which to make these with my roommates. Yum.
