Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!Â
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! My magic moment this summer was traveling to Vancouver, BC and seeing the place where the oceans, the city and the mountains meet. It was incredible and life changing and made me wish I could travel forever and see all the beautiful scenery the world has to offer! :)
Also pre-ordered your book and can’t wait for it ..only 9 more days!! :)
Hi! My magical moment this summer came with day one of the demolition of my current kitchen to make room for my dream kitchen. Two more months and I’ll have my dream baker’s kitchen! Love your blog!
When my almost two year old daughter said ‘I love you” to me for the very first time. I get teary eyed just thinking of it. :D
My magic moment from the summer is when my 11 month old son walked across the kitchen to me!!
Most magical time this summer was taking my 8yr old and 3yr old to Disnelyland, doesn’t get more magical than seeing their eyes glow with excitement.
I pre-ordered your book! I stopped working to have my second child and have become a cooking/bake alcoholic. My entire family loves every recipe I make off your blog. Cannot wait for the cookbook, it’s the ONLY cookbook I’ve bought since everything can be found online.
The most magical moment this summer was the end of a boat ride in Belize that dropped us off at a private island where we stayed for 5 nights
Magic moment from my summer: Zip lining for my bday! Oh and every time we go for ice cream
My magic moment was watching my nephew take his first ever bite of chocolate cake (that I made for him!) on his first birthday. I just love that little rugrat so much and it’s so exciting to watch him grow!
My “magic moment” was catching my 4yo daughter and 5 month old daughter laughing together, while laying on the floor. I had a sweet “wow… what a great life we have” realization while watching them. We’re healthy, happy, & together.. Being a mom is absolutely the best, most magical thing I’ve ever done. :)
My “magic moment” of the summer was when I completed a 5 mile, hour-long run on one of the milder, fall-like days we had in July! It’s been years since I’ve been able to run so far or so long without stopping or walking!!
I’ve had your book preordered on amazon for months. Can’t wait!
Preordered your book and can’t wait to get it!
I pre-ordered your book ages ago and I can’t wait for it to arrive!
The most magical moment from the summer was being surprised with an all expenses paid trip to Santa Fe…thank goodness for awesome family :-)
My magic moment was rereading Moby Dick as part of an intensive humanities institute I attended in July. I spent the last 17 years despising this book, but something about it struck me this time through it and now I absolutely love it. Am obsessed with it. Can’t stop doodling whales. Quoting it. Perusing the pages. It might be the greatest summer fling I ever had. Who knew?
Lobsters, steamers, IPA, and lots of family.
Camping in the woods at 10,000 feet, sleeping under the visible Milkyway in the Uinta Mountains. Unreal.
My magical moment was getting proposed to under the fireworks on the 4th :) I can’t wait to see your book!
My magic moment was watching my one year old play in the ocean surf at the Outer Banks where I’ve been going for 25 years since I was a little girl playing in the waves too!
My magical moment was all summer spending time with my kids. I work in the schools so spending time with the kids is the best!
My magical summer moment was our weekend trip to Seattle. Great food, great coffee and great company! And I pre ordered your book the very first day it was available!
My most magical moment this summer was watching our three year old son lovingly interact with our 10 month old daughter. It’s rare which is why it’s so magical! Mostly it’s whining, sibling rivalry, and grabbing every toy out of her hand. Once in a while though he hugs her or tries to teach her something and it simply melts my heart. I can’t wait to keep watching them evolve hopefully into BESTIES!
I also preordered a few weeks ago!
My magic moment was watching my son overcome his fear of tubing. After falling off last year, he has been terrified. But just yesterday he was begging all day for a tube ride, and by the end if the day he was high fiving his dad after a crazy tube ride full of smiles and laughter!
After a long struggle … i just found out I’m pregnant! Seriously probably the most magical moment of this summer (let alone my life!) Beyond excited (and scared) for all the little ups and downs to come!
Magic moment(s): Taking our rehabbed tiny teardrop out camping (okay, closer to “glamping” but I haaaate that word) all over NorCal. Love, love, loving reading trashy magazines in front of the campfire with cheese & hard cider after hiking all day :)
My magical moment of the summer was the whole 2 weeks I spent on vacation on Chincoteague Island just soaking up the sun, sleeping in and reading a pile of books :)
Pure magic:
After walking the Camino de Santiago trail in France and Spain and making it to the end, my boyfriend knelt down in the middle of a town square straight from the middle ages and proposed. We were both tired and sweaty and smelly and have been wearing the same clothes for like weeks, but it was perfect. And totally unexpected. Magic ;-)
Thanks for the giveaway, I need need need a Vitamix. And chocolate. And Seriously Delish is top of my birthday wishlist ;)
Cheers,
Annie
My most magical moment was just this past week, when my boyfriend and I finally were able to move into our new house together and were no longer commuting across the country to see each other. All the unpacking, though, was slightly less magical, but we’re getting there!
Sitting around the campfire last night at our annual family reunion!
My magic summer moment would be renting a pontoon boat and spending the day on Canyon Lake in South Texas. Made me appreciate this awesome area I now live in!
My magic moment this summer came when after going through a terribly stressful time due to a family trouble I realised it was the seemingly simple things in life ;like the way a cat licked it’s ear , the sound of a baby chuckling, the smell of jasmine garlands sold on the roadside by little kids that make life worth living as they can bring more sunshine and happiness in your life compared to the most expensive designer bags, shoes or any luxuries . We in our quest for the high life have forgotten that the most important things in life are free . :) love to all .
My most magical moment this summer was graduating from college! No more late night stressing about completing impossible problem sets! yahoo!
My second comment to say I pre ordered!
My magic summer moment was taking my baby girl to the beach for the first time!
My magical moment this summer was taking my first out of town trip with my best guy friend who also happens to be my new boyfriend (as of 5 months officially, it was bound to happen eventually!) to one of my girlfriend’s wedding! It was the first time he met everyone and they all loved him just as I knew they would! He’s not a big wedding person, so it really meant a lot to me that he came with me! He’s the best.
Sitting on the porch with my mom after dinner most nights :)
All this stuff is so great!!!
Magic moment of the summer was being on the beach with my husband in Kennebunkport, Maine. It was a perfect vacation!
I think I’ll go with the trip we to to Colorado. We just got our bikes (bicycles) and were able to take them with us and do a small bit of biking in the mountains!
My most magical moment from this summer happened on a flight out to Seattle. When Mt. Ranier came into view from the airplane window, I literally gasped!
This is the most amazing giveaway! Love love love it all!
My most magical moment from the summer is giving birth to my sweet baby boy on August 8. We are over the moon in love and life has never been more exhausting but perfect. Congrats on both your babies Jessica- the one in the womb and the book!
Love this so much! :-)
One of my favorite moments from this summer was when Curtis wanted to walk over the Jefferson Memorial from our hotel at 10pm at night! We walked over and there was a fox in the woods…oh man and as we were walking back to the hotel, it was following us. I might have let out a little scream! It was a magic moment because we had so much fun in DC!! :)
And I just pre-ordered your book! Can’t wait!
My magic moment is easy to pick out–the moment I saw my first child’s face. :) She was born a month ago and my summer hasn’t been easy or carefree but it’s been amazing watching her see the world for the first time.
I had already pre-ordered when I first heard it was coming out so I hope that counts! You never steer me wrong with the recipes on your blog (perogie soufflé, candied bacon cupcakes?!) so I had to order your book.
My magical summer moment was drinking a cucumber margarita in a Mexican villa celebrating birthdays with good friends!
I pre-ordered my copy of your book :)
The most magical moment this summer was watching my twin boys discover fireflies for the first time and then chasing them every night before bed! It was the moment I looked forward to most each day.
