Happy Birthday, Seriously Delish! (Giveaway!)
You guysssssss. Today marks exactly ONE YEAR since Seriously Delish was released! 365 days. 525949 minutes. Like a billion seconds. I can’t believe it’s been an entire year!
I won’t ever be able to thank you as much as I want to thank you for the amazing opportunity to write this book. To go on the book tour and see all of you, to connect with you in your kitchen in a way that doesn’t involve a computer screen everyday. There is no possible way I can express how freaking grateful I am. No way.
The support for this hot pink binded, rambly worded thing I call a book blows my mind. Thousands of you have written and emailed and instagrammed and sent me pictures of what you have made and it NEVER GETS OLD. I never get used to it. I still get giddy and excited and thrilled to see what you are making and hear your stories around the book. Please never stop!
To celebrate, I’m giving away three signed copies of Seriously Delish. To enter, leave a comment below and tell me the answer to this very important question: what is your favorite song? Contest is open to EVERYONE EVERYWHERE and will run until Sunday.
I love you something fierce. xoxo

Wow – that’s a tough question! Since I am being forced to choose just one, I’d have to say Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam. Though Beautiful People by Rusted Root is a close second.
Get Right Back to Where We Started From- Maxine Nightingale
How can you NOT start dancing when it starts?
Stay by Lisa Loeb!!!!
Is it super weird that I don’t just…listen to music? That often?
But I recently downloaded “I Giorni” because classical helps me zen out in the car instead of getting mad road rage, and the French version of “So Happy Together” always makes me smile.
Don’t stop Believin’, obviously!
The River by Bruce Springsteen.
John Lennon’s “IMAGINE”. The words have so much meaning, timeless too!
I don’t know if I could only pick one favorite! I go through phases of being obsessed with a song and listen to it over and over until I hate it so there’s that. Anyway, at the moment I’m really loving Arabesque by Claude Debussy. So freaking beautiful!!!!
For Those About to Rock – ACDC!
“Stay With You’ ~ John Legend
Favorite song is New Slang by the Shins. Could listen to it for days :)

2) Tommy P is the most repeated fave in the list. NO SURPRISE. :)
You are the best thing by Ray LaMontagne!

Tainted Love by Soft Cell!
“you make my dreams” by hall and oates. impossible not to smile.
My favorite song is Breath by Pearl Jam!
Anything by Sam Smith!
This is sooooo tough, but your book is totally worth wracking my brain for a good answer. My pick is “Brothers on a Hotel Bed” by Death Cab for Cutie. (here’s hoping!)
You make my dreams come true Hall and Oates!
Ordinary People- John Legend. Happy Anniversary!!
Don’t Stop by Gin Wigmore – reminds me of Toy Story :)
Congratulations on 1 year!
GAH. I can’t pick a favorite song. Right now it’s Sia’s “1000 Forms of Fear,” the entire album… but probably “Fire Meet Gasoline,” if I have to choose. I’m obsessed with that song.
Shock the Monkey- Peter Gabriel
My favorite song is Beautiful Day by U2. It’s always a beautiful day, especially when I’m in the kitchen cooking and baking away!! :) Happy one year anniversary of the cookbook’s release Jessica! So exciting!
Runaway Train by Soul Asylum! I’ve loved that song since it came out. When I was pregnant with my son I would play it in my car and he’d move around like crazy! I think he was programmed to love the song too!
My favorite song is Are you gonna be my girl by JET. Congrats on one year!!
at this moment, my favorite song is waiting room by ace enders.
I will never, ever get tired of listening to Loser by Beck—it got me through my awkward pubescent years, so I still love putting it on and reminiscing (and hoping that the song’s title doesn’t STILL apply to me after all this time)!
Favourite song of all time? definitely Iris by the Googoo dolls. The lyrics just get me right in the feels everytime. And everyone has at least heard of it.
Congratulations! My current favorite song is Morning Song by the Avett Brothers.
The Way You Look Tonight by Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra (reminds me of my wedding every time I hear it)
And Congratulations! I love love your ‘rambly worded thing’ you call a blog :)
So tricky to just pick one….
I always get SUPER excited when “Faded” by Soul Decision comes on. Which is super embarrassing.
My favorite song?!? This is so tough but as a relatively new blog-follower, it would be so fun to get a copy of your cookbook. The first song that occurred to me was “Come on Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners. My sister and I used to dance around the house to it when we were growing up. Not sure how it become such a staple in our house since it came out two years before I was born! Now we have danced (like total nuts) to this song at both of our weddings. Fond memories. :)
I recently “rediscovered” Indigo Girls after doing absolutely nothing on a Sat morning except watching “The Making of One Lost Day”. So now I have their classic Make It Easier on repeat.
“This Way” by Jewel. She gets me every time!!
Eeeee! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SERIOUSLY DELISH! I think if I had to pick just one favorite song of all time it would be Hey Jude. Either that or I Want it that Way. Yes, by the Backstreet Boys ha
Wow! That’s a tough question. I love anything with an upbeat melody. I’ll always love Happy by Pharrell. :)
this is a tough question!!! i think one song i can listen to over and over again is mumford and sons little lion man. i listened to it on repeat when i was studying for my MCAT and again when I took my first medical school boards.
