Weekend Snapshots.
It was a perfect December weekend. My favorite place in Pittsburgh during the holiday season is the winter garden at PPG with all of the gingerbread houses! It’s just so magical. Max was dyyyying over the skating rink this year and actually cried when we left because he couldn’t skate. They don’t rent skates for his size, so I think we might get him some so he can go a few times this winter.
I bundled Emilia up in this baby bunting and that, combined with the stroller covered in the milk snob kept her cuddly and warm! Now the only holidayish things that I want to do are head to Phipps and Miracle on Market buuuut… that last one might be a little tough this year. Ha! Hope you had a fabulous weekend.

oh my gosh, no i wish!! haha it’s at the fairmont downtown. :)
Love!!
Ooo WHAT is happening with Max and the flour? Too funny…I’m cracking up here…xox
he is completely obsessed with baking and making dough, and in order to bake the cookies we were making, i just gave him a small bowl of flour to make his own “mix”… which he turned into that. OOMPH.
Awwww that’s really sweet that he wants to bake…

If I win the kitchenaid, I’m giving it to my aunt! Her husband remodeled her kitchen last year. He’s a great man! She’s never had a stand mixer and they didn’t even consider to get one with the remodel. She thought she was going to get one for Christmas but just last week her husband was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. I would love to be able to send her some joy this season!! I’m sure their Christmas isn’t going to be the same this year with this dark cloud over them.
I love your blog! Been a reader since 2011. Thanks for all your hard work!! If you’re feeling nosy, I’ve posted every blog recipe I’ve ever made in my Pinterest board “Recipes I Have Tried.” Some have reviews and some don’t. I think I need a resolution for 2018 to make more of your cocktails.
Merry christmas!
Max’s stank face is too good! And that pic where they are looking at each other is precious. You should have it framed ❤️

My favorite go to easy dinner recipe would have to be spaghetti. Everyone likes it, you can make it quickly and it contains all of the basic food groups. Of course I cheat and use sauce from a jar but don’t tell anyone … (I do doctor it up a little;)

Beautiful weekend. I’m very curious as how did you wash those pajamas covered in flour. Honestly, I would have been nope, they are going in the garbage, no patience nor time here. But, curious if you have an easy way. P.S. made your salted choc chip cookies this weekend. Delish!
A) I love your countertops!!
B) How do you bake with Max? Do you let him make a mess and eat the flour and all the things?? My 2.5 year old likes to bake with me, but he won’t keep his hands out of everything and it drives me crazy. But I have visions of me being patient and having perfect family baking times… How…?
Were these taken with your Cannon Powershot? I’m looking for a small handheld, I’m thinking about taking the plunge. :)
