February Favorites: Six Beauty Products I’m Loving Right Now.
Happy February!
Today I’m sharing six products that I can’t get enough of right now. I reeeeeally love these!
But first, update: I’m still loving my eyelash extensions so much! I’ve had two fills since last month and am super happy with them. No plans to take them off anytime soon. I still miss washing off my eye makeup with oil and am still struggling with water/sweat in my eyes. But otherwise, I love them.
However! I need facial wash recommendations. There is so much conflicting info online, but I can’t use anything with oil, glycol… stuff like that? I bought the Xtreme Lashes makeup removed but I still need more of a facial cleanser. So what do I use?!
On to my favorites this month. There are only a few, but I’m enjoying them a lot. For the last six years of favorites posts, click here!
Six Products I’m Loving Right Now
Kevyn Aucoin Emphasize Palette in Magnify.
Oh my gosh. If you’re a purple love, this is for you! I have adored purple eyeshadow since I was a tween, probaly thanks to some tween magazine telling me that green eyes look best with purple and plum shadows. I love this! The liquid shadow is incredible. It’s intense. I use every single shade in the palette to make a look and don’t feel like anything is lacking. I love alternating it with the Charlotte Tilbury Exaggereyes palette! It’s the only eye palette I’ll be traveling with this week! p.s. sorry this palette looks like it has been through the ringer.
Makeup Eraser.
I’ve never used this before, but in order to use my cleansing oils like I love with the eyelash extensions, I needed something to wash them off with. A few of you recommended this to me and it’s perfect!
Fresh Sugar Nude Balm.
I love this stuff. I had it years ago but just got a new one and love wearing it two ways: on its own or over top of the Kat Von D Lovesick liquid lipstick. Super pretty.
The Ordinary Rose Hip Seed Oil.
I fiiiinally got my hands on one of The Ordinary products! I love my other skincare too much to screw with it, so I tried this oil. I love rose hip seed and this one seems to be great! I even use this on my body by adding a drop or two into lotion after I shower.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk Blush.
Loving ths so much! It reminds me of Tarte exposed with a bit of shimmer. I’ve only been using it for two weeks, but it’s definitely an everyday shade.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter
This continues to be something I love so much. It adds the most gorgeous glow! Sometimes I even use a little bit of it alone, but I always mix it with tinted moisturizer or BB Cream.
I know this was such a simple favorites post, but we’re in the dead of winter here and haven’t been doing much. Plus, with the lash extensions I feel like I barely have to wear makeup.
Totally just SO ready for spring. What products are you loving right now? What has caught your eye recently?!
[as usual, none of this is sponsored and all of these products were purchased by me. i am not affiliated with any of the companies above, nor do i accept free products. just love to talk about what i like, makeup junkie to makeup junkie. there are some amazon and general reward style affiliate links above. thank you for being here!]

I’ve been looking into the flawless filter but haven’t pulled the trigger! I usually use a tinted moisturizer for a daily low maintenance make up look. How would you apply – all over under moisturizer, only high light areas under moisturizer or mix in with moisturizer?
i have no idea what to tell you re: no oil cleanser for eye makeup. i think i would die if someone took away my clinique take the day off balm ! I cannot wait for spring to have my skin finally not be like some dry pit. i have been layering on the moisturizer lately everywhere and have even taken to putting a thin layer of aquaphor under my eyes before makeup to give some moisture and help to not look patchy. they say you get dryer as you age…wtf will i be a full raisin soon ????
recently i ran low on my brow gel (givenchy mister brow clear) and they dont seem to make it anymore (how DARE they!). so now i have to find a brow gel. UGH. any suggestions ? generally i like a clear one because i need to pencil in and find that a pencil and a colored gel make my brows often a bit to dark/much. I dont like anastasia clear gel…its just to thick/crunchy for me.
I have been using this for two years and I absolutely love it. AROMATICA Natural Coconut Cleansing Oil – I get it on The Amazon (haha). It removes everything and leaves no residue but leaves your skin soft not dry. I put it on dry before I wash my face. I let it sit for a minutes then wash it off with water. love it!
Fellow extension fanatic over here! I do miss using oil cleanser over my eyes and the way it almost melted eye makeup. Sigh. I still use oil cleanser anywhere BUT my eyes, but to make sure my lids/undereye area gets clean, I use a folded cotton round with some micellar water on it. I’ve also found that pouring some micellar water on a clean spoolie and running it through the lashes helps clean up any debris, shadow fallout, etc.
i love my current face wash, found at clnwash.com (I included the ingredients to save you from searching if some are a no-go for you!)
CLn Facial Cleanser
Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Glycerin, Cocamide MEA, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Polyacrylate-1 Crosspolymer, Citric Acid, Sodium Hypochlorite, Disodium EDTA
I love simple micellar water! it gets everything off my face andkeeps me hydrated in this winter wind!
I’ve been diehard for the It Cosmetics CC cream for like 5+ years now, but lately it’s been feeling heavy and too makeup-y, even when I mix it with liquid highlight. I don’t know if it changed or what?
I think I’m officially moving over to the Physicians Formula The Healthy Foundation. It is just incredible. Unbelievably natural-looking!
Got a sample of the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Cream, and I may be converting to that too.
I love Ursa Major face cleanser..I found it at a Goop store here in Dallas and fell in love with it. Now i order it online on Amazon… Lasts a good while too. Nothing synthetic and no glycols.. https://www.ursamajorvt.com/products/fantastic-face-wash
Do you apply the Charlotte Tillbury blush as recommended with the “pop” or do you swirl them together? I have Love Glow and while I adore the formula, I find myself just swirling the two colors together since I can’t really see a difference the other way.
I love the Eminence Organic Skin Care line. I use the Stone Crop Gel Wash and love it (buy it on Amazon)
I read that you recently got eyelash extensions and they are my favorite beauty experience. Unfortunately, after wearing them for about 6 months, my eyes developed an allergic reaction to the glue and I can no longer wear them! I read that taking breaks every couple of months can help decrease the chance of allergic reaction, especially for those with sensitive ski.
