April Favorites: My Spring + Summer Picks for the Sephora VIB Sale!
I’m super excited because the sephora spring VIB sale starts this weekend!
This is such a good sale and I love to grab all things spring, but… let’s be honest – SUMMER! so I have them for the season. There isn’t another sale until November, so I also usually get a palette or something all bronzy and glowy.
I have so many favorites that I’ve shared previously, but these below are my spring and summer basics for sure. This is the sale when I stock up on skin care and especially, perfume! Perfume is rarely (or never?) on sale anywhere else.
I broke it down below into my skincare favorites (which is what I mostly love to try and splurge on these days) as well as some makeup, hair and summer scents. These probably won’t come as a surprise since I’ve talked about most of them at length before, but there are a few new things I’ve tried recently on the list. Let me know below what you are loving or what you plan on trying!
P.S. to see more, here is a post I did for the fall VIB sale, and last year’s spring VIB favorites too!

Soooooo I’m new to Sephora. What’s the deal with the VIB sale? I have an “account” where I give them my phone number when I check out and I rack up points. But is the VIB sale open to everyone? I’ve already added some of your recommendations to my cart!!!! :)
i think the sale opened today to VIB rouge, but next week i think it opens to all VIBs! yes, it is open to everyone if you have a VIB account, and it’s based on your account, and not coupon codes – even though they make you use a coupon code!
i know that sounds confusing, haha. but you have to be signed into your account to get the sale. :)
You and I have a number of similar products. What do you use for eye cream?
i use the drunk elephant multi c tango eye cream at the moment. i like it (and have repurchased multiple times) but i’ve never really found one that i’m super devoted to.
For a nighttime eye cream I really like – Kiel’s creamy eye treatment with avocado. I also don’t have a day eye cream I am wowed by.
Bobbi Brown Beach is my fave spring & summer scent (and sometimes even in the cold dead of winter when I need to be reminded of warmer temps).
agree!! it smells like heaven!
I would love to know your favorite tinted moisturizer or light bb cream. I am always outside with my kids in the summer so I’m usually sweating ha! I would love something light and I love your suggestions! Thanks so much!
that is all i wear too! my favorite is bare minerals complexion rescue for everyday/most days. if i want a little bit more coverage (i loathe foundation), then i use the dr jart premium bb cream. sometimes i mix them too!
I got a sample of Beach Walk last summer and fell in love. Can’t wait to order during the sale.
it’s so good! i love it too.

Another good summercy scent is “Hamptons” by Bond No.9. It’s heavenly!
I thought I posted a comment earlier Mus t have gone in the wrong section..lol..uh oh
Anyway “Hamptons” by Bond No 9 is dreamy!
Here’s the link. https://www.bondno9.com/hamptons.html
We’ve got very similar tastes in skincare and makeup so I always look forward to your favorites! A couple of things you may enjoy are the Natasha Denona Biba palette, which is great for an everyday look, and the new bloom cheek palette. I was initially scared off by the darkest shade but it blends into the other cream color to make a pretty look for fair skin.
You may also like the Nudestix tinted blur stick for just enough coverage to even things out when paired with concealer. I also love their eye shadow pencils. The kits are a great value- nude beach is my fave since it’s shimmery colors that aren’t too light or dark.
Hi! Do you like the new tan luxe face drops you got? Or recommend another brand more? Love your blog and cookbooks!!
what great picks ! i am picking up some of the same like Protini, C Tango and just got that Natasha Denona diamond blush combo and havent tried it yet so i’m happy to see you like it. I got a Dior foundation that i think i will be returning and then some other things that are new to me like Olaplex shampoo/conditioner to try to help my overly processed blond hair :)
im thinking of getting the full size beachwalk but for some reason spending $$ on perfume for myself is so much harder than skincare ? i feel old like i feel like i remember perfume costly like 50-75 and now it seems anything i like is over 100-150. I also like Wildbluebell recently from Jo Malone.
so funny, i also always think perfume is so expensive, and remember having a heart attack when i would pay over $50 for one. now i end up wanting perfumes that are $150 and i’m like WHAT IS THIS!!?? but i guess it does last a long time. i easily could spend on skincare over perfume too!!
