October Favorites: Beauty.

Another month with all my favorites!

Since I don’t have a ton of new products this month, I thought I’d share my skincare saviors of the moment! And also, the lip colors I am loving right now. They are such perfect neutrals.

In the meantime, I’m still freaking out over how much I love this Marc Jacobs steeletto palette that I mentioned last month. I have used nothing else on my eyeballs. It’s so good.

One other new-to-me thing I’m really loving? This Sagely Naturals CBD Stress Tranquility Rollerball. I bought this from Thrive market a few months ago and after a really stressful month, this has helped me so much! It’s super calming and I will use it on my wrists of even the back of my neck. It’s so soothing and the scent is wonderful.

As a note, I’ve also been LOVING this makeup eraser 7 day set! I was so excited to see this a few weeks ago and am really bummed it’s already sold out?! I’ve been using the makeup erasers since I started getting lash extensions and the are fantastic.

The only products saving my face at the moment:

My skin has been SO DRY this month. Between the weather changing, traveling (dry planes and hotel rooms) and allergies/sinus infection, my skin has been losing it’s mind!

Dr. Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Booster. I will use this right after cleansing and toning. It’s awesome but works best with a moisturizer over top! Since my skin has been super dry, this is the first step.

Drunk Elephant B Hydra. The next step has been a pump of B Hydra. I was afraid it might be overkill, but it’s been saving my skin,

Weleda Skin Food. This is always my go-to when my face gets super dry and nothing is helping. I put a very thin layer over the marine booster and B hydra and within a night or two, we’re back in business!

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream. If I’m not in serious need of the skin food, I’ll use my regular night cream, which is this! I have not tried the reformulated version of this yet, so I’m hoping I’ll still like it.

Dr. Jart Water Fuse Mask. This is the last step if my skin is insanely dry – I put this either over the skin food or over the lala cream. I have used this for ages (you probably know!) and count on this every fall and winter. I’m nervous because it’s no longer on sephora?!

My go-to lip shares right now!

I don’t know if I’m in a color rut, have just become utterly boring or if I’m just too busy at the moment to care, but I’ve been wearing the same lip colors constantly and not even bringing in fall colors. I’ll break out a red here or there, but these three are the shades I can’t live without!

Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lovesick. Literally my holy grail of lip colors. This is slightly cool toned and if they ever stop making it I don’t know what I will do. I love it by itself and also under the two shades below.

Fresh Sugar in Bloom. I wear this alone or on top of ANYTHING. Seriously. This shade looks incredible on top of anything.

MAC Creme Cup. This has been one of my go-to shades since … maybe college?! You know that because I never stop talking about it, but it’s just the best light neutral pink shade. It’s so good over Lovesick or under the Fresh Sugar!

Also, super exciting!! The Fresh sake bath is finally back in stock after an entire year! I have been waiting for this forever. I wish I was in a bath full of that right now. Eeeep.
