A Week in the Life, Vol 5.
This week!! It’s basically a Max and Emilia show. It was a busy one with lots of work but I managed to snap these two over and over.
Friday was PJ day at school! Emilia had to join in.
Guys this is what my house looks like 97.8% of the time. I can’t get a handle on it.
Make my house salad ALL the time. I added eggs to this one.
Emilia selfie! Found this on my phone.
Love our little hockey player!
He came home and made charcuterie sandwiches for dinner.
This feels like a lot of snow. What is happening!!
Made brownies for a night with friends.
Someone was excited.
And they made this amazing app with four dips in one!!
This coming week I’m finishing up (almost) all of my photography for the next book. Requires tonnnnsss of prep.
Cannot even handle how much she loves him.
Hahahaha.
We made crispy wings in the air fryer for the super bowl.
And sheet pan nachos too. And buffalo wing cauliflower that I forgot to take a pic of!
Sweet asian and parmesan garlic wings. The recipe for these is: go to whole foods and buy pre-marinated wings then put them in the air fryer!
Emilia and Eddie went on a lunch date.
Mmmmm.
I can even hear her saying cheeeeese in this photo! Guess it turned into the Emilia show!
xoxo

That pull apart bread with dips is genius…..would love to see that recipe on the blog…..maybe your friend could do a guest post!
Agree! You have awesome friends. By which I mean, friends who make awesome food are in a whole league of their own!
Oh, man. We had an epic chicken wings failure yesterday. We had grilled wings in the fall and they came out AWESOME. So much so that we decided to make wings again, but this time in the oven since, hello, February and we live in NJ. We followed the same prep, but then baked and broiled the wings, per a few recipes’ instructions we found. THEY WERE NOT CRISPY. At all. It was horrible. I hate, hate soggy wings. The soft skin is gag-worthy. UGH. We may need to get an air fryer for the months when we can’t grill.
A friend of ours makes some pretty awesome BBQ wings in the over, but when I asked for the recipe she mentioned in was a 2 hours process of continually basting and turning, and I decided wings in the over just weren’t meant to be in my repertoire!
Omg, that sounds way too intense, I agree, lol. Comforting to know that’s what great oven wings require, though; I didnt put nearly that much work into mine, so there was no chance for them from the start! 🤣
Those two , what cuties! Nice to see new pictures of them.
My 2 girls, 14 & 19 share the same taste in things. They are very close.
Emilia selfie. mic drop.
Wait wait, can we go back to that 4 dips in one tray thing?! I think we’re going to need to share that… please :)
Seriously, I think I love your kiddo pictures as much as your recipes! They are precious!
omg that four dip appetiser with breads!!! can you share a recipe please??
I agree with those who would like the recipe for the app with four dips… I’m in for a guest post on that one!
Our house looks like that too with toys all over the place. For a long time I thought everyone else’s houses were clutter free and the toys were always cleaned up. I finally figured out that everyone has the same problem so I try not to let it bother me
