A Week In The Life, Vol 47.
Hello hello! Another week down.
My rainbow girl!
Kicked off the week with an eggnog latte.
We’ve also been doing an occasional treat of hot chocolate! They love it.
Started to decorate my mantel!
We had dentist appointments this week.
Max was the best.
Emilia is all of us at the dentist.
Everyday Max builds something new and asks me to “take a picture.”
Grilled some chicken one night for dinner.
Oh and Emilia did this nice art project.
This is a terrible photo but it’s chilaquiles with leftover take out chips! Before cilantro.
Started to decorate the tree too.
The kids loved it.
I’m trying to make our tree like my mom does hers. Reference this post for pics of it!
I made this amazing bolognese lasagna for dinner that was sent to us for Gaby’s virtual Thanksgiving.
And we had her brownies too. OH MY.
They were Max approved!

Your mantle looks lovely and your tree looks just like your moms – both very beautiful. We’ve been having some milder weather here in the northern IL area so deciding what colors we’ll be using to decorate outside. We do a different combination every year. I think maybe red and green on the bushes (about 18 of them) and then we put a tree with white lights on the porch. A huge wreath with white lights hangs above the 3 garage doors. We always try to plan on decorating when it’s sort of decent out but it never fails that’s it’s usually cold out – so much for planning! Emilia’s art project – oh my! She certainly likes color!
Do we get recipes for the chicken, lasagna and brownies? Yum!
Yay for the dentist! My parents did a horrid job teaching us to take care of our teeth and I didn’t start going to the dentist regularly until I was an adult. GOOD ON YOU.
