Roasted Broccoli with Cheddar Breadcrumbs.
This is my family’s new favorite broccoli recipe! It’s a side dish that goes with just about anything, complementing tons of flavors. The broccoli is roasted and coated in garlicky breadcrumbs and cheese crisps, making it so enjoyable to eat!
My family loves broccoli!!
And this roasted broccoli with cheddar breadcrumbs is a new fave. I highly suggest adding it to your recipe repotoire because it is that good. Toasty, roasty broccoli is topped with garlicky breadcrumbs that are studded with cheddar cheese. The cheese melts into savory crisps and turns the broccoli into such a delight!
My parmesan roasted broccoli might be my most made recipe ever. Sometimes I make it four or five times a week. Occasionally, I make it twice a day! Lunch and dinner. We all love it so much and it is packed with incredible flavor. Salty, savory, crunchy and everything.
I didn’t want to replace that recipe because we adore it. But it’s nice to have something similar yet different enough that adds some variety! This is just a little different with some sharp cheddar flavor and a major crunch from breadcrumbs. I can’t always use pine nuts either, so this gives us crunchiness in another way.
The more cheese the better!
This could not be easier. I mean, it’s definitely one of my embarrassingly easy recipes.
Roast the broccoli first, toast some breadcrumbs with garlic, combine it all for a few minutes in the oven. Delish!
Remember my side dish sundays series?! I use those side dishes in real life dinners constantly. It may be a series I need to bring back!
As usual, my favorite part of this recipe is that crispy cheese that sticks to the pan. I want to steal all of it!
I’ve been making this with my lemon butter chicken from Everyday Dinners. It would also be perfect with this roasted turkey breast or espresso crusted filet!!
It deserves all t he exclamation points, trust me.
