Did Paula Deen take over your blog??

As one of my students says “Holy Compost! That’s a lot of butter.”
Maybe he doesn’t say that “that’s a lot of butter,” but he does start every comic with “Holy Compost!”
Reply
Ohhhh either shortbread or snickerdoodles! I’m about to do the same :)!
Reply
I’m not sure but maybe you’d want some “pajama pants” after you’re done! hehehehe!

Eating sticks of butter?
OR
Buttering up your pants so they fit again?

Oh I cannot wait to see the recipes! If all goes as planned this is exactly what I hope my kitchen counter looks like tomorrow. I think I’m going to start with your just-posted snickerdoodles-YUM, and move on from there though I still have not been able to narrow down a reasonable (ha! how many cookies and bars can I make in one day and still be reasonable?) list.

Sunbathing?

I grew up in a margarine household. It wasn’t until I moved out and started cooking for myself did I discover the joys of butter.

Holy shiz. That’s a lotta buttuh.

Please send me whatever it is you are making, so that I may partake in your misery, please, pretty please!

Cookies? Frosting? I bet it’s something very very tasty!

Me too! 5 cookie recipes later and many, many sticks of butter I am finally sitting down. As soon as the white chocolate dries on the molasses cookies I’m filling the tins! Mission Accomplished and I only ate 1 cookie!

That was me and my sister in law and mother in law yesterday! In total we made 23 dozen cookies! So filling…so fun :-)

Smitten Kitchen has a pecan pie bar recipe you may be interested in. It involves 9 sticks of butter.

Haha! You and me both, sister!

Oh. My. !.

As in you need new pants because the old ones are too loose – I mean, I don’t see any bacon…

Bathing yourself?
Butter soap and bacon scrub!
Reply
That is awesome.

I need new pants too but it has little to do with butter

OMG! How funny. I spent the day baking yesterday, Cranberry Bread, Pumpkin Gingerbread and an Apple Cranberry Rum Cake. I burned through a lot of butter and loved the smell of spices wafting through the air…. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Reply
ooh…croissants seem to be a good guess…whatever you’ve been up to, no doubt it is DELICIOUS.
If you have any butter leftover, maybe you can use it to grease your pants back on.

My eyes just bulged out of my head.
You know what?? At least you’re having a good time :)

Have you ever endulged in one or two of those “Otis Spunkmeyer” white chocolate chip cookies with dried cranberries? Here is the recipe, this one is luscious, just luscious. It’s really one of those “must-bakes” for this season. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/White-Chocolate-Macadamia-Cranberry-Dreams/Detail.aspx?prop31=5 – White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Dreams. Bake on (that’s kind of like “rock on”) and thank you for sharing!
