Ummm… I’m in a massive chocolate peanut butter coma. And I didn’t even eat anything that you’re about to see below. My sheer presence around these goodies has me in said coma. I don’t know if I can go on.
My friend Cindy is competing in figure tomorrow and I baked her some treats for post-show. Can you guess what she wanted?
I made the brownies for her last show and I’m pretty sure she has been dreaming of them ever since.
And these.
It is a flippin’ miracle that I have both of these sitting in my house right now and have had enough self control to not lay a finger on either. I don’t even know who I am.
Especially because I also gave my mixer a good scrub down.
It really needed it. It is easily my most used kitchen appliance and I clean it approximately… zero times a week.
Someone get me out of this kitchen.

I’m Jessica and this is where I share my stuff. You will find a balance of healthy recipes, comfort food and indulgent desserts.
Oh my gosh this is like pb and chocolate over load! It looks amazing

Um yes my mixer looks like it survived a crime scene most days…

Oh – and I’m trying not to comment about the goodies because, well, I just might weep if I think too hard about them. And how they are not in my house right now.

Truth: I eat the PB out of Reeses and throw out the chocolate. Sue me.

I don’t think my parents’ stand mixer has ever been cleaned. What’s the old adage? Crusty bits tell a thousand stories?

Just slightly I’d say! “giggles”… Did you know I use my hand mixer more than my stand? Why is that?

It’s so true! Why don’t I feel it’s necessary to clean my mixer?! but..you should see my hand mixer….cream cheese frosting remnants everywhere!
Peanut butter. Chocolate. I love these desserts…can’t wait to eat them (but I’m not in any fitness competitions, due to all that cream cheese frosting!)

Oooh I love your fun, pink mixer! I’m trying to decide on a color for the one on my registry. Originally, I went for the classic red, but then though maybe I should do white. Is that too boring? White isn’t super fun but it’s practical. Arg! I hate being a grown up!
