Yay! I am headed to northern MI (hometown Cheboygan) on Thursday for a couple weddings. I plan on taking my boyfriend to Mack Is to rent bikes and tour the Grand Hotel. I am thinking we may need to take a day trip over to the Lake Michigan side:)

Not sure if my comment is here. Oh well, We’re headed to Northern Michigan on Friday for two weeks. We go to Douglas Lake,which is about 10 miles south of Mackinac. Steve is from Michigan and bought his dream cottage on the lake last year!! Great Times! Love your recipes:)

Hi Jessica! I’ve commented a few times about how great Boyne City is and I realize this is a bit creepy … but do you stay at the Harborage condos?! That is where my family’s condo is and I think I recognize the docks!

That’s awesome! We’ve stayed there for over 20 years. My parents stayed in #74 this time, but we stayed in #17. Were you there??
So crazy! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to go for a few weeks, but I only live 2 hours away so I try to get up there as much as possible in the summer. Your pictures make me want to go to Cafe Sante ASAP!

That sun set over the boats is insane. You wil have to blow up and print some of those pictures! What program do you use to arrange your pics on the blog post? I love it!
