Tuesday Things.
1. Ho ho cupcakes! They’re a thing.
2. Right this minute… like truly right this minute… I’m trying to determine if I can give up cheese for lent. About 163% of my meals have some sort of cheese in them, so yeah… would this work?
3. Three words: bacon.cracklin’.pancake. What in the heck.
4. I sent Eddie a text this morning with a photo of Max in the kitchen with me, saying he was hanging out with me while I was “coking.” Um, that should be COOKING. Worst autocorrect ever.
5. Starbucks has coconut milk! I am thrilled. Have you tried it yet? Is it terrible? Don’t tell me. Let my dream live on.
6. And oh yeah, lonely Starbucks lovers? This made my week.
7. So I’m totally NOT a bath person, but I am currently infatuated with the idea of taking a bubble bath. We have an awesome jet tub that I haven’t even used yet. Tell me: what kind of bubble bath stuff should I get? Obviously I want to get one of those glitter bombs from Lush so I can sit in a tub of glitter. Yep, I’m 32.
8. TV. OMG. Okay, first, GIRLS made me so crazy and I wonder if it’s the end of that relationship and I sort of don’t want it to be since I love him as an actor but, let’s be real, Hannah needs to get her stuff together. Glad Shosh was back for some hilarity but I missed Elijah. I’ve really been bored with the last two episodes of the Walking Dead – this is the first time it’s ever happened. I am having a difficult time watching it, especially when the talk about/show Judith, because of the whole baby thing. I really need to watch happy stuff at the moment. Is that crazy? I get too emotionally invested. I also can’t really watch Grey’s because of that right now. But I am on the Nashville wagon BAD. There is so little Juliette in it right now though and I get why, but I like her drama. What are you watching? On a few days until House of Cards!
9. On that same note, I finished Parenthood. YES. That means I watched 102 episodes in less than two weeks. Seriously, if you want to binge on a show, have a baby in the dead of winter. Anyhoo – I am not a crier and I BAWLED MY EYES OUT through entire episodes, especially the last two. Perfect ending, in my tear-filled eyes. I loved it. I really wish I had watched it the entire time because judging from my obsessive TV experience, I know the impact would have been more intense.
10. Are you having the fattest of Tuesdays? I’m thinking cheeseburgers for dinner. Or just, like, cheese. See #2.

Darn, I was intrigued by Starbucks’ coconut milk
Mix a bath bomb AND a bubble bar from Lush- it’s wonderful!! Just know that once you start with Lush, you can’t stop :) Enjoy!!
My favorite combo is French Kiss (bubble bar) and Twilight (bath bomb). I loooove lavender.
I seriously just did the same thing with parenthood! Finished it on Monday. I cried at some point during almost every episode haha. Such a good show!
I second including a lush bubble bar in a bath. SO MANY BUBBLES!!!
We had our second daughter last week and since she’s a night owl, she and I are up pretty much all night – (which is not too bad until I remember that I have a toddler and won’t be sleeping during the day either.) In the early morning hours while I’m up with Mae I totally now binge watch Parenthood! I don’t watch much tv but I’m having serious regret that I never bothered to give this show a chance when it was actually on TV. I’ll be so sad when I finish it as I’m not sure what else I will find to watch that will captivate me as much as this show has.
ugh. same here with walking dead.. i just watch as background noise. and greys.. ugh. we just went through a pretty rough experience and greys makes me bawl my eyes out. i cant take it.
Totally agree about Walking Dead. All they do is stare at each other. SO boring. We are watching Sons of Anarchy right now and it’s amaaaaazing – every episode leaves you hanging and the main character, Jax,…ooo la la.
Don’t yell at me, but “Friday Night Lights.” I’m not a football fan, but this show isn’t all about football, Talk about crying!!!
Love your recipes and blog posts!!

I’m intrigued about the coconut milk! I was hoping that you had tried it! I love Nashville! I’m also currently hooked on Sons of Anarchy. Yep, I jumped on that bandwagon a little late!
As to #7, how “hard” is your water? If it’s “soft” enough to make this feasible, don’t get bubble bath stuff at all. Instead, stick a cake of soap against the grate of the underwater water intake of the pump apparatus after you sit down in a tub of hot water with it running with maximum aeration, and let the soap dissolve there until your tub’s sudsy enough for your liking, then remove it. It won’t be the gentlest of bubble baths, but it’ll be your favorite soap scent and will get you clean. You’ll need to rinse, though.
Oh, wait, you’re in Pittsburgh? Unless you soften your water, forget the idea of using soap as bubble bath in your jetted tub. You could dissolve an entire 4-pack of Ivory and get only curds before you see suds, depending how big & deep your bath is.
In New York City water you could easily make a bubble bath with soap tis way.
Come to think of it, your jetted tub was unused 3 years ago. Knowing how those things go, if you started using it regularly then, it’s broken down by now and hasn’t been worth your trouble to fix. Hot tubs and jet tubs tend to be maintenance hogs. It’s just that people maintain hot tubs because that’s what they get them for; a jetted bathtub can still be used as a bathtub, so people tend to just let them go when the jet apparatus breaks down.
