Pretty much the most picturesque christmas gathering and pictures I could dream up. Right down to the golden retriever (I have one too, I’m biased!).

Could I dive into that bowl of punch?

And then hit up the dessert tray?

    Ok, good…thanks :)

Love them!! The chocolate cookies look great!!! How did you make them? Mine always turn out SUPER flat!!!

    • Joee — December 27, 2011 @ 12:32 am Reply

I meant to say Chocolate chip cookies… They look so great!! Just wondering what recipe you use??

      • Jessica — December 27, 2011 @ 12:47 am

Haha, these were actually my aunt’s and I’m pretty sure she just used the pre-made cookie dough from Pillsbury that you pull apart! But when I make chocolate chips, I used one of these two:

In order of importance: 1) Bella is the most beautiful girl ever – my Henry would love to meet her (don’t worry, no hanky panky allowed!) 2) The tree is gorgeous – I must know, is it real? I am pulling for us to get an artificial one next year, and this one is stunning.

    • Jessica — December 27, 2011 @ 10:25 am Reply

Not real! It is my parents tree. :)

  29. Lisa — December 27, 2011 @ 9:48 am Reply

I love your tree, it is so beautiful, and loaded!! Of course your goodie tray is awesome, I love buckeyes, and the peanut butter blossoms!! Happy New Year, and I look forward to a new year with you!!

  33. Cara — December 27, 2011 @ 11:58 am Reply

This is definitely the first time I’ve seen matzoh on Christmas. I’m a little befuddled ;) It looks like everything was very merry though!

    • Jessica — December 27, 2011 @ 12:03 pm Reply

I’m not even sure what matzoh is, but I’m pretty sure my uncle just grabbed the crackers at our local Italian marketplace because we like eating it with salmon! It has no other meaning for us besides it tasting good with salmon hahah!

  34. Lisa — December 27, 2011 @ 1:01 pm Reply

I wish I knew how to prepare salmon like that – I would make it for EVERY holiday! And that dessert platter has my full attention! Look like a wonderful Christmas :)

  35. janetha — December 27, 2011 @ 3:28 pm Reply

    everything looked perfect!

  36. janie la pierre — December 27, 2011 @ 7:17 pm Reply

i love your dog. I secretly want her as my own. Ok not so secretly. I guess I could just get my own dog but my bf keeps saying No. He thinks he has a choice which is incredibly entertaining to me.

  38. Jolene (www.everydayfoodie.ca) — December 29, 2011 @ 1:01 am Reply

    What a tree!!!!

  39. Kim in MD — December 30, 2011 @ 8:46 am Reply

Wow…what gorgeous photos! Bella has gotten s big, and is so beautiful! Christmas at your parents house looks like such a good time…great food, yummy sangria, and a gorgeous tree and fire! The salmon and beef tenderloin look delicious, and I love that you have buckeyes on that cookie tray! Now I am hungry! :-)

  40. Aunt Sally — January 1, 2012 @ 8:38 pm Reply

By the way . . . the chocolate chip cookies were homemade from scratch . . . No Pillsbury slice and bake!!!!

  41. Kit-Kat — January 5, 2012 @ 7:12 pm Reply

    I found your blog!
You have a beautiful dog! I’m a mega animal lover, so this is a high compliment.
And your tree is as big as the one from the Nutcracker! :-)
