Pomegranate Prosecco Smash. (and all the Thanksgiving cocktails you need!)
The most festive pomegranate smash is making me so ridiculously happy.
If you’re a crazy fan of pomegranate juice like I am, you will LOVE this. Pomegranate with a splash of maple to offset the tartness. A bit of vodka for more flair, but nothing that makes it seem like you’re drinking lighter fluid.
All topped off with delicious prosecco bubbles! It’s so bubbly and pretty and super festive. I want to drink it until January!
I also really love that this is more of a refreshing cocktail.
A lot of the cocktails I’ve been sharing have been “warming”… if that makes sense. I mean, it’s probably just a thing in my brain, but I find bourbon and spiced and apple cocktails to be a bit more hearty and warming. That’s the only word I can use to describe it.
This is bubbly and fresh. It still tastes like fall but it’s also light enough to drink all year.
And the rosemary is just a pretty garnish. What’s a pomegranate smash without a sprig of herb?
I have ridiculous arsenal of perfect Thanksgiving cocktails. Traditional apple cider sangria and this Thanksgiving punch are by far the most popular. I’m making red apple cider sangria as well as this cranberry cider punch which is booze-free. I also adore this sparkling pomegranate punch for another mocktail option.
The honeycrisp crush is amazing, as is this honeycrisp margarita. We also have cranberry orange punch, cranberry chai sangria, cranberry pomegranate juleps, pom cider mimosas and a pumpkin pie bourbon smash.
SO MANY OPTIONS.
All of these are so good that I’m second guessing my own choice. Eeeep.
What are you serving? I must must must know!

Oh wow – I wonder if I used pear flavored vodka, if this would taste like a bartlet pear??!
ummm that sounds amazing!
I made the red apple cider sangria for Friendsgiving and everyone loved it! I think I’m going to make it again for Thanksgiving! This pomegranate smash cocktail will probably be my Christmas drink!
so glad you like it!! xo
Pomegranate arils are in the ingredients twice but I only see them used once in the directions?
ooops sorry angela! you only use them once.
Is using red wine will be good idea with this?
i think you could try using a sparkling red wine, maybe a bubbly lambrusco? it won’t be quite as refreshing but it will be good!

i know it kind of defeats the point of this beautiful cocktail, but do you think I could sub cranberry juice for the pomegranate? For some reason I can’t find pomegranates, pom juice, or arils anywhere in central Texas. I had planned to make this for a friendsgiving lunch. Cranberry seems the closest flavor substitute.
yes for sure!! :)

Where are these beautiful glasses from?!
Could I make this in a punch bowl? Would I leave the ice on the side or put it right in the bowl? Add the Prosecco right before serving?
