A Week In The Life, Vol 16.
Signs of life here in week seven-ish of quarantine.
This was just a regular old week. Aside the fact that we can’t leave the house, obviously. Is it feeling more normal to you? My emotions are still a rollercoaster! On minute I’m okay, then the next I’m losing my marbles.
HER STYLE. She’s super into accessories, in case you can’t tell.
My breakfast… toasted sourdough, unsalted butter, flaked salt.
Their breakfast!
Max picked me these again this week. Heart explosion.
He and Eddie have been playing jenga every night.
This cracks me up.
The start of the how sweet eats house salad! AGAIN.
And I made sourdough pizza crust one night!
We also had eggs for dinner one night.
Along with this cheesy asparagus which was just… meh.
A few days a week we have music class on zoom!
And Max loves to do his school projects too.
Supporting local business with allll the smoothie bowls.
The best part of the week: one of Max’s friends left this for him on the doorstep. It was the cutest.
So we took them a batch of chocolate chip cookie bars.
These two are having so much fun together. This is definitely a sliver of the silver lining. With the three year age difference, I didn’t know how long it would be before they’d actually PLAY. The created a bed for all of Emilia’s doggies.
And then they watched a movie with the doggies too.
This is the lemon chicken from my next book! I made a ton of food on Saturday and delivered it to family.
Including my baked chicken parm meatballs. We love these.
And I made embarrassingly easy funfetti cookies (from the boxed mix!) for Eddie’s Saturday treat.
Can you spy Max?!
I made my first loaf of sourdough! It was pretty awful. HA.
This weekend we put on all of our halloween costumes.
And Emilia worked on her on arm party.
A few blooms.
I made pickled onions for the week ahead!
And my new favorite drink? tequila, lime juice, and either pineapple or watermelon seltzer.
My starter is still going strong!
How was your week?! xo

Obsessed with Emilia’s rainbow outfit with all the bracelets and beaded purse. Wishing I could pull that off!

YESSSS to that drink! I’ve got jalapeno-infused tequila in my freezer and it goes so well with pineapple seltzer. so good!
I am saying heck yes to the jalapeno-infused tequila! I need to get right on that!
First of all Emilia is killing me with those accessories – OMG! Secondly, I am DYING over your sourdough!! I’m too invested, I have to know- what happened?!
Emilia is seriously going to cost you tons of money in the not to far away future. She has some kind of style and will be ordering onlne before you know it, ha!
BTW…all those stuffed doggies are signaling she might need a real puppy soon…something not top small but for sure shaggy and cuddly.
Would love a post on where you get your kids clothes! They always look so darn stylish and adorable! I have a little boy who is 2.5 and am currently pregnant with my 2nd. Just found out we are having a little girl and I am bit too excited for all the girly clothes!
