Chili Crunch Baked Feta.
This chili crunch baked feta is the easiest appetizer ever! It only takes two ingredients – feta and spicy chili crunch – baked and served with crackers or pita chips. It’s heaven!
Easiest snack ever, coming right up!Â
This chili crunch baked feta is so embarrassingly easy but so incredibly delicious. Put it in your recipe book as a staple appetizer, because it’s so simple to throw together when you need something quick.
YES, I have ANOTHER appetizer here for you today!! And guess what? It’s even easier than last week’s holiday hummus.
First off, it’s only TWO ingredients. TWO!
Oh wait, actually three including the olive oil. Three ingredients.Â
The best part is that these ingredients are all things you can keep on hand. Sure, the feta isn’t exactly a pantry staple, but a block will stay fresh in the fridge for quite a while so I suggest grabbing these things to have on hand for snack or friend emergencies.Â
I know that baked feta has been a trend here in the last year, but I first baked feta almost a decade ago. It is one of my favorite things ever. Slightly melted but still set enough to sit on a cracker. That’s perfect!Â
This baked feta is even easier than the one I shared in 2021. Really.
This is how it goes down:
I drizzle the feta with some olive oil. Bake it until slightly soft and warm and melty with a golden top.
Then add a few spoonfuls of spicy chili crisp on top. However much you want! Get the crunchy part and the oil. Drizzle it all over.
Serve with crackers, pita chips, anything. It’s THE BEST.
That is it. Boom.
Now let’s talk about my chili crisp obsession. It’s a new obsession for me. I mean, I first had it years ago, but I recently fell in love with it.
The love surprised me! I don’t enjoy super spicy things at all. But this chili crisp changed the game for me. It’s my favorite one, the only brand I absolutely love.
That brand is NOT overly spicy. In fact, it’s barely spicy. Like I’d give it a two on a spice level of ten. Which is what I prefer.
It’s also SO incredibly crunchy. There is so much crisp and crunch and umami flavor that I could practically eat it with a spoon. I like it on everything.
Perhaps the best part of this recipe? It’s that there IS NO RECIPE.
It’s true. You can get away with whatever you have here.
Any size of feta block works. The chili crunch comes in a jar, so use as many spoonfuls as you wish. It really depends on how much you love the chili crunch flavor.Â
Throw it together and in 15 minutes you’ll have the best snack for friends. Or let’s be real, for yourself!

Genius!
I just ordered the chili crunch! It looks like salsa mulata (Mexican salsa that is oil-based and looks like this one with visible chili seeds in it…but it’s HOT, very spicy) and so I will be interested to see how they compare. Also salsa mulata is hot enough no one would likely eat enough to be crunching away on it. But they look identical. Merry Christmas!
any home made modifications or alternatives to teh child crunch? cant get it in India.
This is great, however a suggestion; Trader Joe’s Chili crunch is the bomb, and no bad ingredients like in the one your link provided.  To each is own, but I’m a chemical free kind of gal.  The TJs variety is so-so good, just give it a try! Â
Thanks for the recipe. Â :-)Â
i’ve tried the TJs version! it’s no where near as good as this original!
I cannot believe how something so simple can be so delicious! I made a trial batch for my son and some of his friends this weekend and they devoured it. So I made more to take to a get together with some neighbors last night and it disappeared immediately :-) I think I’m going to have this on repeat for any situation where I need an appetizer during the holidays. Thank you so much for another awesome recipe!
I only see chili “crisp” and looks like there’s a couple of different ones. Which one exactly?
Oh my….. this is amazing and soooo easy. Thank you for introducing me to chili crunch. This will be my go to over the holidays.
Hi,
We made this tonight. So delicious! I have a quick question- I heated it exactly the times you have on the recipe Â
Should the cheese be crumbly or where you can almost slice it?
Thanks
AmyÂ
amazing and easy
I had just purchased a block of feta and some good olive oil (always have chili crisp on hand) when I saw this, I knew I had to try it. Pure delicious genius! Thank you so much for the recipe!!
