These are my best pool snacks! The top 10 make-ahead dishes that you can bring to the pool in a cooler that will keep you satisfied all day long. Delicious and simple!

It’s a hot and sunny pool day in high summer!!

And I figured it was time to tell you about my favorite dishes to make for a pool day.

Over the years I have mastered the art of what dishes to bring to the pool. It’s one of my favorite things to do. Most of these are items that I prep the night before too. It’s simple.

Oh – and I’m not talking about for the kids. I mean for the adults. If the kids eat it too, that’s a bonus! My kids are thrilled with a sandwich, even an uncrustable or just snack-sized salty snacks and fruit. That’s all they need. The fun comes in for the grown ups.

These are some of the items I make ahead and take to the pool often that are always a hit. Most do require something to stay chilled, so make sure you have a cooler. If it’s a cold dip or spread, I love this pampered chef cool and serve stuff. It is such high quality and nothing I’ve found on amazon compares. I can usually just buy it online without going through a host. It’s pricey but worth it and lasts forever. That is what I will use for my pasta salads, fruit, dips, etc. I use this stuff almost daily in the summer!

I’d love to hear some of your favorite pool dishes below! !
