summer fridays

Here’s a summer fridays from my favorite place! xo

EATING

Tomato picnic toast!! And chili lime watermelon. And my BLT chopped salad with corn, feta and avocado. An oldie!

DRINKING

Lemonade frosé! Or my kombucha sangria. Oh yum.

MAKING

My summer squash pasta with goat cheese. And this flaming hot cheetos grilled corn. YEP.

BAKING

My caramel pretzel skillet cookie. The salty sweet combo is incredible.

GRILLING

A longtime favorite – my smoky grilled chicken pitas are everything. We adore these. Also really in the mood for my grilled peaches with lavender honey!

CRAVING

My tomato pie galette. It is DELICIOUS. Also, my blueberry peach galette with a cinnamon sugar crust! It’s galette season.

LISTENING

To this beach vibes playlist!! It’s a good one.

READING

Going to start The Summer Girl today! What are you reading? Here’s my summer reading list if you need some inspo.

WEARING

I got a pair of the lulu slides and I LOVE them. Oh my gosh, they are so comfortable. A friend was telling me how comfy they were, and they are waterproof. I am hooked! All summer I’ve been living in these birkenstock slides. They are also extremely comfortable! They are a little bulkier though and the lulu ones are sort of sleek and squishy. Just call me a slide influencer now.

LOVING

Just posted my July favorites – there are so many things I have loved on repeat this month. Please tell me you’ve tried the Trader Joe’s dark chocolate covered watermelon! It’s like a watermelon gummy covered in dark chocolate. I was skeptical but I love it.

SHOPPING

I’ve got ever-so-slighty (but not really!) closer to fall and added these clogs to my anniversary sale order. I love Veronica Beard – it’s probably one of my favorite clothing brands – but I only ever get the really great timeless pieces. They had these clogs last year but I thought they’d be out by now. I can’t stop thinking about them! I was on the fence but had to try. You can find the rest of my favorites from the anniversary sale right here!

USING

These porter dressing containers and I am obsessed! So I’ve talked about how much I love the porter bowls – and the lunch bowls too. I use these every single day for something. Well, I just discovered the tiny dressing containers and these are ideal for work/travel lunches or meal prep. Love them!

PACKING

We packed up for our vacation and I just have reiterate how incredible the scout errand boy bags are for road trip travel!! Perfectly structured and carry so much, but also lightweight and fold up into nothing when not in use. And the biggest thing in Eddie’s opinion – they have a zipper! P.S. here is a list of my summer vacation must haves.
