14 Of My Go-To Recipes To Throw Together For Spring Entertaining.
I’ve got some of my favorite spring entertaining recipes for you today!
With the weather warming up, all I have on the brain are cheeseboards and chilled white wine! Okay, maybe a few other snacks too, but as soon as spring rolls around I can’t help thinking about all the outdoor entertaining possibilities. Obviously this year, I’m craving those times even more! Even if it’s just US sitting outside and enjoy the newfound sunshine and warmth, I want to make it feel special.
Below are a few of my favorite spring entertaining recipes that I love to throw together if we’re doing something simple outdoors or just want a spring snack during happy hour. Ones that I just can’t wait to make this year – and ones that I already have in minds for some family get togethers!
14 Spring Entertaining Recipes
Melon Mosaic Salad with Honey Honey Vinaigrette
It may be a little early for melon, but if you can find some good cantaloupe or watermelon and combine it with tomatoes, cucumber and avocado? Oh and feta? You’re all set! Make the pretty mosaic or toss it all together in a bowl.
I am so obsessed with all of the hummus recipes, I can’t pick one! You can make one (or all) ahead of time though – and they are so flavorful.
a Cheeseboard, of course
While I have some crazy elaborate cheeseboards, my go-to for quick entertaining is a block of good cheese, a bowl of nuts, some crackers, olives and a bunch of grapes. That’s really all you need! In a few weeks I’m going to show you exactly the cheeses I use for my cheese boards right now. Like, my all-time favorites.
Spring Pasta Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing
This spring pasta salad is flavor HEAVEN. Make it ahead of time and store it in the fridge – you will not be able to stop eating it. It is SO wonderful.
Skewer anything with fresh mozzarella and I am game!
One of the ways I love to make this lobster guacamole easily at home is by grabbing a bag of the langostino tails from trader joe’s and keeping them on hand! More economical, more meaty and easier too. This is a show stopper.
I am all about the lavender flavor come spring! These dried culinary lavender flowers are something I have on hand all the time to easily make recipes pop!
One of my favorite apps and snacks to make all year round, this recipe is actually amazing in the tomato off-season, because you cook the tomatoes down until sweet and saucy. It is such a wonderful combo. This whole thing can be assembled ahead of time too!
Spring Veggies with Cashew Blue Cheese Dip
Spring veggies with any sort of dip – make it happen!
Balsamic Strawberry Pasta Salad
One most pasta salad on the menu for today. This spinach and strawberry pasta salad with black pepper and balsamic is surprisingly wonderful and really welcomes in the lovely spring weather.
While this is the perfect summer snack, if you can get your hands on a good watermelon right now, it is amazing for spring. Really gets you excited for summer flavors! It’s refreshing and such a treat.
This dip is one of my favorites of all time. I hesitate to call it a dip because it’s really more like a skillet of hot, creamy lump crabmeat. It’s rich and decadent and tastes like you’re on vacation.
Lemon Almond Roast Chicken Salad
A longtime go-to, my classic lemon almond chicken salad is perfect to serve on crackers or chips, or even to use to make little croissants with some arugula greens. There is texture and flavor and everyone loves it.
I just shared this yesterday but have already made it for some family gatherings and everyone loses it. SO MUCH FLAVOR!
