It’s our last summer fridays of the year!

EATING

Pesto meatball melts! And fresh fig grain bowls. I love the vinaigrette.

DRINKING

Red apple cider sangria! Apple cider margaritas! I could get into all the apple cider drinks right now.

MAKING

Just so you have it in your arsenal: all the things to make after you go apple picking! So many good recipes here. Our local farms are already doing apple picking as of last weekend.

BAKING

My double fudge zucchini chocolate chip cookies. So much zucchini! And apple cinnamon baked oatmeal.

GRILLING

Anxiously awaiting these grilled autumn vegetables with brown butter bean dip.

CRAVING

My honeycrisp quinoa kale salad. And this chipotle maple pumpkin hummus.

READING

This Time Tomorrow! I didn’t read this yet even though it was high on my list. You can find my full summer reading list here. Also… do you want a fall reading list too? I usually post it around the first official day of fall.

LISTENING

To this new slow mornings playlist we put together! Think slow fall mornings, lots of coffee, a little chill in the air… yes.

WEARING

I am obsessed with Merritt’s capsule wardrobes that she puts out each season, but especially in fall. This one is so good. It provides so much inspiration for basics and different outfits to put together. Especially since we’re back to wearing real clothes now.

LOVING

A ton of back to school meals right here. This list is pure gold for anyone who is searching for good weeknight meals. I will reference this almost every week over the next few months. Also… how to pack lunch for yourself. Like, not recipes. But actually HOW to pack.

SHARING

Lots of new videos over on instagram! Corn, tomato, peach salad with crispy quinoa. The best summer grilled salmon. This guacamole salad! And blueberry zucchini muffins.

SHOPPING

I grabbed my favorite fall candle and am putting it out September 1. This scent is incredible.

CELEBRATING

The unofficial end of summer for us, with the last summer fridays post today! It always makes me so sad to end these but I have so much delicious fall content for you – I need more days to share it. Just wait for fall coziness, thanksgiving, holidays – everything! It is so, so good this year.
