summer 2021 reading list

Ah, it’s one of my favorite days of the year! My 2021 summer reading list is here!

Oh my gosh, I can’t even handle just HOW GOOD all the books look this summer. I think this is the longest reading list I’ve ever done, and it doesn’t even include most books that I already read this year!

You can always see what I’ve read in my monthly book recaps and if you follow me on goodreads, you can see what I’m reading in real time. I love putting this list together because I revisit it the rest of the year (and even longer) to find my next read.

Also, have you joined our book club yet?! You can join here in the secret facebook group!

The community is wonderful and so much fun!

The books below that aren’t out yet are listed with release date too. I cannot even wait for some of them to come out! I linked most of the books below with bookshop.org which is a way to support local, independent bookstores. You can find the full reading list here! And I also did create a section for it in my amazon shop for your ease, but highly suggest shopping through Bookshop to support our local stores. Nothing on this post is sponsored, but there are some affiliate links below.

Also! If you’re new around here, you should know that I’m a crazy unapologetic certified fan of most types of women’s fiction (and yes of course chick-lit!). Light, fun, beachy reads are my fave. I’m not super into anything that resembles a harlequin romance. I do love to listen to memoirs and autobiographies on audible. I read to escape, to get lost in the story, to feel like the characters are my friends. And I actually love the day after I finish a great book and can’t even stand to start a new one because I’m mourning my new (character) friends.

I can’t WAIT to hear your recommendations in the comments, what you’re reading now and what’s on your list!
